Bosch Home and Garden 18 Nanoblade Cordless Saw Advancedcut, 18 Volt System, in Carrying Case, Green

I like the Robert Bosch brand and love what they do for charity as a thanks for us buying Thier tools. I saw this piticular tool on a funny Canadian YouTube channel that reviews and dissembles new power tools of many brands to find good build quality and points out design flaws as he is a long time man of using power tools in his craft and speaking fluent man about the shop with jags and banter which he uses to make videos. The nano blade is his personal unboxing tool and yep it unboxes very well I enjoyed unboxing things as well with the medium speed wood blade but hijinks aside it is a powerful wee thing ripped through wood in seconds has a plate to guide for straight cuts on ply wood or MDF and fence posts to state a few things it's capable of tackling. study safe chainsaw usage be mindful of your work space. Charging time is around an hour to two depending on your needs or job needed cut. Over all preformance will shock you comes with a built in trigger lock for long cuts my blade is the depth of 65mm and it's a awesome bit of kit.

It might not look like much but believe me when I say, this saw is not to be trifled with. The first thing I did with it after unboxing was accidentally nick my thumb trying to open an Amazon package. Admittedly, not the smartest thing I did that day; but it doesn’t look like much, is only a few inches long, and I didn’t think it would chooch that hard. I WAS WRONG! This saw is one of the coolest tools I own. It’s versatility, ease of use and general cool factor are off the charts. 10/10 Would recommend. Would also recommend reading the safety instructions and having a fresh box of bandaids at the ready (just in case).

A brilliant bit of kit for anybody who doesn’t want a full chainsaw. While this can tackle larger jobs I have pushed it to its limits and broken blades because of it. The biggest weakness of this device is the blades which at £30 a pop to replace does make this an expensive tool to use/ run. Does it do the job? yes - if you’re planning to use this for commercial use I’d recommend looking at other alternatives - Very much the diy’ers tool one that’s is used once in a while.

This saw is tiny, the blade protrudes about 10cm, but do not let that fool you. This saw can cut around a trunk that is 20cms (approx) and quickly. Probably the most agile tool for gardening that I have ever purchased. It has done the job of my loppers and chain saw (electric pole variety and petrol). I bought the saw for DIY and ended up using it for heavy-duty pruning. The blade and housing are incredible (and very sharp). It cuts through wood like butter when you hit the sweet spot. I can see this type of saw being the goto saw as I get older and find hard work hard to do. It certainly makes garden jobs simple to do. It is brilliant.

If this review was based on concept, I would have given it 5 stars. I find the Advancedcut 18 a very versatile and useful tool, but it has one major flaw, the nanoblade. It is far too flimsy for its intended use. They break far too easily even on the basic of wood cuts. Bosch should address this flawed design immediately. At an average cost of £20 for a replacement blade it doesn't take long to exceed the price of the original unit.

Not great

I like the product. The short fall is expensive blade, it cost £24 per blade and if you don't hadle with extreme care, the chain just break out. With in the first two usage I broke one blade and now I am using second blade. I feel £24 one blade is just unresonable and not convinced why this blade has to be so expensive. The only reason i can think of is, this is a non standard product and only Bosch making these blades. It is a good tool if we can find cheap replacement blades from elsewhere

First time using saw today performs well . Cut through some quite thick branches with no problem, much easier than using a hand saw. Very pleased I purchased this item I would recommend. Thank you.
