Excellent Product, Flies are thriving and it doesn't smell bad.

If you’re unsure about this product, get it!!! I’ve tried keeping fruit flies for my dart frogs with home made media and it never worked out. This powder is extremely easy to prepare and it lasts a long time! I’ve been making a culture a week for months now and I still have half of the bottle. Every single culture I’ve made using this product has thrived, it’s functional and effective. Plus it smells like real food. Get it!

SuperFly = Super Fruit Fly Cultures! Provides great nutrition that allows your fruit flies to thrive! I have made about five cultures now and have not had any issues. My fruit flies all reproduce pretty rapidly and are very healthy. I can make my cultures in about three minutes, which is extremely convenient. All you have to do is mix boiling water with the superfly powder and let it cool before adding your fruit flies! There’s no foul odor or weird smell that the mix gives off either! In my opinion, this mix is worth the money with how many cultures you can make out of it! Plus, you have the comfort of knowing where your feeders are being raised & produced.

I started using this for hydei and melanogaster cultures, and it produces really well with no mold. It does start to smell pretty funky near the end of the culture's life, but there's no real way around that. It's the best culture media I've used for fruit flies.

I am not a master fruit fly producer. I’m an idiot with 200 hobbies. I followed the directions first time. Was a little goooey. Was too thin after 2 weeks. Made the next one thicker by 1 scoop. It lasted a little over 3 weeks before it was too goooey. Runs out while tapping flies out. It’s probably me though. Fruit flys multiply great until it gets thin. I’m using the Josh’s frogs FF cups and lids with small holes, not the netted top type. Never have gotten any foul smell.
