So far so good! Had this CHAIR MAT for about 2 weeks. It looks good and serves the purpose. I like the large size. I previously had a similar one but with a carpet top and sticky bottom. I wore out and I had to take my time to get the sicky gum off the floor. This lays flat, no need for the included sticky tabs to hold floor down. Itis good of a good quality, appears durable and should last many years. I would recommend.

The chair mat was all I expected and after looking at several product reviews before I purchased, it turned out as most had stated. The thing that concerned me the most was that some had a problem getting it to lie flat because of being rolled up. I found a great way of helping with this. I took mine out to my patio and placed it on the concrete in direct sunlight. The heat from the sun softened the material so that there was no waiting period for uncurling. The one thing that it don't like about it is that it does "crawl". When I roll my chair under my desk (while sitting in it), the mat will "crawl" under the gap between the desk and the floor. The upper surface may indeed be "anti-slip" but the bottom part WILL indeed slide on a laminate floor. So, just as I have with other chair mats, I have to pull it out from time to time. It doesn't do this near as bad as the harder material chair mats. I guess I will have to place something between the mat and my desk to close the gap.

Came in a (very) tight roll. Recommended to lay out in a large space, and weigh down the mat prior to using in it's permanent space for a day. Otherwise, looks sheik, and protects my floors from the chair. Installed on hardwood/vinyl flooring, and there are no issues with shifting etc under the desk. I can see why this would not be recommended for carpet, since there are no nubs on the bottom of the mat to keep it in place like a carpet chair mat would. I spilled some water on it intentionally, and was easy to clean up. Does have a bit of memory to it on the edges, so ironing out the "roll" will probably take a bit of time. Worth the cost of the mat, and wish I would have gotten the one that was just a bit bigger. Should have measured my space a bit more, but not the fault of the mat or the seller. If I need a second mat, I'll be back!

I got this mat months ago for my home office, and I am still trying to get it to lay flat. It ships in a very tight roll and the material is quite rigid, so I've had to weigh it down with things like jugs of water and heavy books so it won't try to curl up on me while I'm standing on it or my chair is on it. Looks nice, but unless the floor underneath is perfectly flat it develops dents and so on which mar its aesthetic appeal.

The mat is much thicker than it looks. You have to break it in before normal use which is not hard and worth it. As long as you have a brain and some imagination it's not difficult to break the mat in. I use mine under an L shaped desk that also is being rolled around on regularly by plastic office chair wheels. It doesn't even phase it. This is for sure a long term item in comparison to other mats. Linke I said you have to break it in before use. Some people are simple and soft minded and apparently can't use a little imagination to get around this not so difficult obstacle. I took a blow dryer heated the curled ends of the matt up (heat it up as much as possible) then I placed hand weights along the curled up sections and left them on for about a week. Once again this is something you have to do. Small price to pay for the -long term- quality of this thing. I'm more than happy with the actual quality with this thing. Was surprised of some of the negative comments because they simply couldn't use their brain a little. If you are looking for something simple and don't care about years of use then maybe buy something different

Does not stay flat. Rolls when chair rolls on it. Tried taping to a harder pad and does not stay.

I bought the mat when I was about to move into a new apartment with all hardwood floors. The day before the mat arrived the entire building flooded so I had to find another apartment. This one has carpeting. The mat looks great and I could tell would be terrific if I had moved into the apartment with hardwood floors. On carpeting, the mat simply cannot be used. It bunches up and my chair can't roll on it. My plan is to cut the mat and use it to put my PC and subwoofer on in order to avoid putting them on the carpet. I'll get a new mat for the chair.

This will not even remotely prevent static from traveling at all. Bought it for this reason, deeply regret it. Also gets dirty fairly fast. I don't recommend.
