I wear a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) so I checked it every 15 mins for an hour and a half and it only went up 10 points. On all other types it went up 70-100 points within that time. I was picking these up at a local store, and they apparently are not going to carry them anymore... I knew that this larger version existed, but the store did not carry it at all. Thus, a quick search on Amazon, and for a reasonable price, bingo, I am back in business. The thing about this is that this particular item does not have Maltodextrin in it. Maltodextrin is sometimes an ingredient is "No Sugar Added" foods, yet it spikes glucose wildly... it took me a while to find that this even existed, then to find it in the store. It does not need refrigeration until opened, but I keep it in the fridge anyway... but because it doesn't require refrigeration, it is not in the dairy case, it is on the shelves.... or was, until they no longer stocked it... but it is here, available on Amazon. We purchased the six pack of the 32oz bottles so they last a while, and that we can determine how fast for reordering purposes.
