The day after I placed these I attempted to go through a soccer goal, minus the nets, and pulled up too early catching the underside of the horizontal bar. It was an abrupt, and I thought, an end to my Avata 2 that I had purchased one month earlier. The gimbal protectors i had purchased one week prior. I walked over expecting the worst and the first thing I saw was the battery laying on the ground. Approaching the drone, I was unbelievably surprised the gimbal protector/bumper had taken the majority of the trauma and completely protected the gimbal. See pic. I would highly recommend this accessory. It may save you from disassembling your drone for repairs which I understand is a supreme pain and costly.

I don’t baby my drone at all, I’ve been hundreds of small crashes. But I keep her well dressed and this has been my favorite accessory. Will be ordering again as this one is ruined lol.

Work just like they should. Definitely provide protection to the gimbal without affecting flight or battery at all. Screws were tipped in locktite so they stay in place.

Slam your AVATA 2 into a powerline at 45MPH & you'll quickly realize why these are ESSENTIAL. Don't needlessly waste a drone like I did. The gimbal was completely destroyed, and I had to buy a replacement - because I didn't already have these. They fit like a glove, look OEM, and they're super sleek - which is essential if you're traveling with your drone.

Not sure if these actually do anything but they look cool and are very lightweight

This gimbal guard is nice to have to protect the front of your Avata 2 from unwanted bumps. I've lost a few filters when I struck a limb or twig and to be honest, depending on the angle of the impact, they may still gt through to tap on your gimbal if you are just that kind of "lucky" flyer. The screws are very lightweight and thus you can easily strip out the head... be careful.
