Cute lil stun gun packs a punch!

I picked this up, mostly for peace of mind while walking my dog at night, and overall, I think it’s a pretty solid choice. First of all, it’s super compact, about the size of a key fob, which makes it easy to slip into a pocket or attach to my keychain. The bright purple color is fun and makes it easy to spot in my bag, which I appreciate. The flashlight feature is handy. It has three modes, and I’ve already used it a few times when walking in poorly lit areas. The actual stun function is straightforward enough to activate, but you do need to slide the toggle and then press a separate button, so it takes a little getting used to. I get that it’s designed this way to avoid accidental activation, but in a high-stress situation, I could see myself fumbling with it a bit.

Ordered this mini stun gun to give to my finace to carry in her purse at all times. She has a CC permit and carries a firearm a good amount of the time but sometimes she doesn't feel like bringing her gun and in those cases especially if I am not with her I always want her to have a way to protect herself so got her this mini stun gun as well as a can of very powerful pepper spray as well that she will always have on her. As far as effectiveness and function of the stun gun I let my finace zap me with is once and it definitely will do the job and get someone off you god forbid she or anyone is attacked and has this on their person. I feel very confident in it's ability to do what it is supposed to do and thus give it 5 stars and hope my fiance never has to ever use it.

I got this as a nonlethal deterrent. It is a very neat design. The see-through case makes it more space-age-looking. To charge, just plug in the charge cord and wait for all the lights to come on. Once it is charged it should last a long time unless you have to use it often. The static and sound coming from the tip when you press the button is frightening. That alone should deter any ner-do-wells. I would love to see just how much power is actually coming out but I haven't had any volunteers yet. I do like how small it is. It is very easy to carry. It also has a flashlight so it is useful to carry at night to and from the car or anywhere else you have to venture in the dark. Overall I am very impressed with this stun gun. I highly recommend it! Especially for the price. ALL of your loved ones should be carrying this.

I do love how small this is. It isn't much bigger than a car's key fob or an earbud case. It's not super intuitive to use, and you have to slide a toggle on the side to the right location before hitting a second button to activate the stun function. I haven't tested it on myself, but it does emit a loud buzzing. It's noticeably different from the distinctive crackle or a serious stun gun, but it would still probably work as a deterrent. I'd argue this is better than nothing, but probably not something I would use as my only means of protection. In an effort to make everything so compact, I think some sacrifices in function had to be made.

hope I never have to use it

This is a flashlight + "stun gun" that could be very good but it does not work. At times the arc comes on when triggered but then one can make several attempts to trigger it but it does not come on and there is no arc. This seems to happen randomly. This is not good because one cannot at all rely on this to be there if one needs it for self-defense (hoping that no one would ever need to use it).Even if it worked, one would need to be very careful and get a good feel for how to use it for self-defense, again hoping to never be in a situation where you would need it.Another issue is that the flashing light that shows that it is in charging mode never stops flashing. Don't know whether this is normal.I will update this review if needed based on further experience.
