First had a lot of difficulty with the delivery side as the sub-contracted haulage company in the UK did not have the correct vehicles for a curb-side delivery.After several aborted attempts at delivery and subsequent help from Anders at Nordkapp Customer services this was resolved at the expense of the haulage company which used a crane to finally deliver the sauna on to our driveway.Hopefully that issue has been addressed now for delivery to other customers in the UK.The assembly requires two experienced joiners/carpenters with special equipment for drilling holes, unless you are a serious DIY buff with a well-equipped tool shed and a loyal friend to assist you .It will take a day and a half to assemble the sauna and another half day to treat the wood properly - preferably before the felt roof is laid.I would suggest that the sauna should be supplied with the wood pre-treated and, even if it increases the base cost , for some people that would be a convenience well worth it.The whole exercise in our case was somewhat frustrating and it cost a lot more than we expected to get everything sorted out and up and running after costs for the joiners, electrician and sauna essentials were included.Our extras amounted to another £1750 or so for these.The end result is, however, quite a nice sauna and is pleasing aesthetically to look at and to use.
