I got this set a while ago now, and I'm updating my review based on some of what I've seen in the deluge of new decks coming out from vendors all over the world, in hundreds of new designs. Many years ago, all we had was the old rider deck, with the cartoonish drawings and very simplistic coloration in bright reds and yellows, but this is beautiful, as to the artwork, and you can hardly spot the use of AI. There are three noticeable uses, where it's what I'd call super-obvious, but they're also very interesting, when you contemplate the meaning ascribed to the cards, and I ended up feeling like the use of AI actually improved those three cards, because the disjointed images in those cards actually made me think about my own life (and isn't that point of using tarot for journaling, contemplation, meditation, or self-guided therapy). When I first got this set, I gave it three-stars, because every card had scrapes or dings where there were actual gouges in the cards. One had a giant streak of a gouge into the card over a person's face while others have them in other places. Then, beyond all that, there were a couple of cards with printing errors where there was a white dot surrounded by printer's ink in a sort of mound, where the white was the blank page and the ink was rising up around it. Naturally, I was irritated by this, so I got a replacement set as quickly as possible. But I found so many defective cards in the new set that I ended up having to hand-pick the least-defective from each of two sets in order to craft what I'd call a four-star set (as to how many flawed cards remain). After cherry-picking the best cards, I have four with gouges and around ten with printing errors. That truly irritates me, to this day. And yet.... While they need better printers for these, after spending a year with this deck (along with many others), I'm upgrading my review to a full five-stars, because the art in this deck is leagues ahead of so many decks out there today. True, the book is perfunctory, so you'll need a better book to use with this if you want it to be much fun, but the cards themselves have lovely imagery. And the stained-glass design has a startling impact, in that, when using this four journaling or contemplation, the little boxes/shapes of different colors found throughout each image actually have a fascinating impact on the brain, causing my mind to focus on different areas of the cards on different days. For example, I can pick a random card and sit and think about what the image guides me toward in my current life circumstances, try to meditate on the ideas that come into my mind, and even journal for a few minutes to try to center myself before returning to the nitty-gritty of getting through the day, and this deck always inspires me enough to actually be able to come up with something useful. But, beyond this (since I have at least ten Llewellyn decks that can achieve the same thing), I can pick the same card every few days, intentionally picking the same card once every few days to look at it and think about it, and my mood pulls me to different colors and different sections of the image because they used a stained-glass style that separates out all the little elements of the image and essentially boxes them away from each other. My brain can't help but see these larger-than-average dividing-lines around and inside objects and people and plants, such that I end up seeing something different in the same card, even a mere three days after having looked at the card last. And that doesn't happen with most sets. The stained-glass styling actually allows for the mind to be randomly pulled to different parts of the image, instead of perceiving the image only as a whole. I see the whole image, but then many smaller images, and that allows my mind to be drawn to different areas of each image, which allows me to more freely associate my own life issues with the image itself. That makes this a wonderful deck for contemplation and journaling and self-guided therapy. I hope they get a better printer, since they need one for these, but I'm really happy with the long-term utility of this deck. It's become one of my favorites over the last year. I give this an A+ and Five-Stars, and I highly recommend this one, even though there are better quality decks out there. For image-quality, for inspirational-value of the images themselves, and for being useful in many different sittings and journaling-sessions, this gets Five-Stars purely for the quality of the images on the cards, and the three clearly-AI-images are among my favorites, because they always make me think more, not less.

Beautiful Cards. Slightly Unhinged Results (In a Good Way). I bought these stained glass tarot cards because I wanted something that felt a little more “mystical guide” and a little less “scrolling my phone at 2:14am wondering what I’m doing with my life.” First impression: stunning. Like actual stained glass windows got shrunk down and decided to start judging me personally. The colors catch light in a way that makes even bad lighting in my apartment look intentional. The first time I used them, I tried to keep it simple. Just a calm, centered reading. Maybe ask a grounded question like “what should I focus on this week?” The universe had other plans. I shuffle the deck, feeling very spiritual, very aligned, very “I have my life together.” A card falls out. Then another. Then a third, like the deck was impatient and tired of my attitude. So I lay them out on my kitchen table, which is also where I keep mail I’m avoiding and a fork that has never been put away for reasons I don’t fully understand. The reading begins. First reading: interesting Second reading: suspiciously accurate. Third reading: so specific it made me sit back and question if my own thoughts are being subpoenaed. At that exact moment, my smoke detector starts chirping low battery. Now I’m sitting there, surrounded by glowing stained-glass imagery, being emotionally read like an open book, while a dying smoke alarm is aggressively reminding me that nothing in my life is currently maintained properly. I asked for insight. I received commentary. The cards are thick, smooth, and feel like they were made to survive both careful handling and mildly dramatic table flips. The artwork is the real standout though—each card looks like it belongs in a cathedral that would absolutely not approve of my current lifestyle choices. They don’t just give readings. They start conversations you didn’t ask for and definitely needed. Would recommend, but only if you’re ready to be gently exposed by cardboard and ink.

This deck is STUNNING. Not “oh that’s cute” stunning — I mean gasp-out-loud, angels-singing, stained-glass-masterpiece stunning. Every card looks like it belongs in a cathedral built by witches. First Impressions The colors?? GORGEOUS. Vibrant, luminous, glowing like each card is backlit by divine tea. It literally looks like someone melted a church window and poured it into tarot form. It’s giving: ✨ sacred ✨ ✨ magical ✨ ✨ aesthetic influencer ✨ And the cardstock? Thick, smooth, fancy — the kind that shuffles like music. Using It The readings are surprisingly clear and intuitive. You’d think a stained-glass style would be harder to interpret, but nope — the symbolism pops. Every pull feels cinematic, like: “The universe is now presenting its message in 4K HDR.” And yes… the deck reads. Not harsh, not chaotic — more like a wise stained-glass auntie who gives soft truth with beautiful lighting. Why It SLAYS • Looks like art • Feels expensive • Shuffles beautifully • Easy to read even for beginners • Perfect for Instagram / altar aesthetic girlies • Makes every reading feel sacred and dramatic I’ve used it for daily pulls, relationship readings, and self-reflection spreads — and every time, the imagery hits perfectly. It’s one of those decks that feels special the moment you open it. A full 10/10 for beauty, energy, and drama.

These are are very, very beautiful!!! Each card has the Stained Glass look. Some are not as much but still hold that look. They are a really good card stock. The gilding is such a bonus, so pretty. I really enjoy these a lot!!! The stained glass theme makes them so unique and fun. I have a lot of different Oracle and tarot and this one stands out. Very happy with the quality. The guidebook is very easy to use and handy. Easy for beginners as well. A great addition to a tarot deck collection. The price is great! The size is traditional tarot size. I love the font on the cards for the names. The borders are great for the stained glass look. And they have a unique letter or number on one of the top corners of each card! I love them a lot. 1 thing thought is there were just a few cards that reminded me of other cards because of the illustration. The image. If they didn’t have the name of the cards I would get a couple of them mixed up. Still amazing! The colors are beautiful as well! They are really nice on camera with the low gloss finish. I’m happy I bought them! I don’t believe you would regret it. 😁

This is one of the most beautifully illustrated tarot decks I have seen, and I have collected several dozen. The stained glass inspired illustrations are luminous and colorful. The stained glass conceit does get in the way of the symbolism a bit, some cards are much simplified compared to other decks. Some of the illustrations have questionable symbols, also, which the brief guidebook (a weak point for many tarot decks) does not explain. Examples: The magician is usually depicted with the four items of the minor arcana, symbolizing his mastery of the elements and emotions, will, industry, and intellect. They are absent here, but instead the frame has abstract stars, butterflies, and flowers. Beautiful, but off the mark I think. the Hierophant is holding something small in his left hand. It appears to be a… carrot? His right hand is also posed as though holding something, but is empty. Death holds I believe a knife in his right and, and the item(s) in his left are hard to discern—a spear? A scythe? There appear to be two shafts. The tower is a beautiful card, but lacks the instability of most depictions. Ace of swords—the sword is pointing down, not upright. This traditionally has a very negative interpretation. Two of swords—why does the lady only have ONE sword? Knight of swords—why is the sword so… complicated, with blade projecting from the bottom and a strange blade ending in a sort of hilt-like shape from the top? This is not what swords look like. The queen and king of swords oddly do not have swords at all. The queen has some sort of large scepter, the king has a spear. IMO many symbolic choices are questionable. If you are going to depart from the pervasive Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism, you owe it to your users to explain why, so that they can interpret the cards correctly. Still, a beautiful deck, well made, in a sturdy box that will last.

Beautiful artwork, and great quality honestly. Zero complaints about my purchase! Tbh, I ordered them to represent The Deck of Many Things in a D&D campaign I run, but couldnt bring myself to do it once I held them.

These are stunning. They are sturdy, a great size, beautiful material and a great value for the money.

This deck was delivered early today. Clearly AI, some deviations from Rider Waite, but I decided I will look at the unexpected design elements a challenge to view them from a stained glass mindset. What is broken and imperfect may be beautiful, luminous and thought-provoking in a reading. I think these thicker cards will soften and resonate better with each additional use. The concept creates a romantic, medieval vibe, but some of them are reminiscent of anime. Just like connecting past, present through the prism of broken glass. I found the toes on the image on the Four of Pentacles to be hilarious. Over all I think there was much love put into the project including the brilliant blue foil edges. I don’t mind the no drama, straightforward information on the booklet. The summary is more than enough for seasoned readers. I would recommend these. I think they are worth the lower price compared to other decks.
