I’m not sure if that includes the frame breaking due to strong wind, but they say it’s supposed to be able to withstand 90% of strong winds, and for the remaining 10%, the umbrella may turn inside out, but it’s built not to break and should be able to be pulled back to its normal shape. If that a “function” of the umbrella, damage due to high winds should be a legitimate reason for a replacement. Note that Davek did not say “return for a refund,” but only for replacement.
