Happy to find a metal tool box. Well pleased with it

I love this tool box. I’m using it for my art supplies. It’s thick and sturdy and seals in residual solvent odors well. It’s a little bigger than I expected but I can fit 10 tubes of paint, 2 palettes, 2 bottles of solvent, all my brushes, rulers, pencils and other odds and ends- so it worked out. I like that it isn’t super deep, so I can see everything easily. The only negative would be that since it’s all-metal, it is pretty heavy even when empty. With that, and the size, in spite of the product description, I wouldn’t say this is especially portable unless you are “porting” it in the car.

Great quality. I used these for Easter baskets this year and my kids use them for a lot of things. Toys, crafts, pokemon cards, outside nature hunts. They are metal and great quality for a great price.

Pops when opening lid. Fixed by bending. Decent knock off of toyo steel box.

I want to use this for art supplies but at the moment it makes for a good “junk drawer” for useful odds and ends like batteries, small tools, scissors, etc.
