Bought the Large 36" crate for my mini dachshund pup (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09ZF2DH8C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) in the hope that one of my other dogs would join him in the crate (no such luck). Pup loves it, despite it being too large for him. He moves around a lot at night, so plenty of scope for creeping around.Covered the crate (top, sides and back) with an old blanket, to make the pup a secure den.Easy to assemble and made of nice, strong metal.Bought a medium waterproof base (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073TVYPV1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) for the crate. Had to remove the foam and trim about 5cm from the length and width. Put it back in the waterproof cover and it fits the base perfectly. No leaks! The cover is washable. The foam is not but as yet, the foam has remained perfectly dry, despite some big accidents.Topped the waterproof base with Traditional Grey Vet Bedding (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07DRG3H21?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1), which keeps the pup dry when I don't make it on time for the 2 hourly nighttime wee.Bought a 2m x 75cm roll so I could cut two bedding mats for the crate. I was left with two smaller pieces, which I just use in the "play area".When washing, I put the mat in a net washing bag and it does not cause any issues with my 9kg washing machine. Air drys quite quickly, although it is summer, which helps.All in all, the pup sleeps well and has on occasion gone into his crate for a chill out, without prompting.

The media could not be loaded.  I always use vet fleece for newborn puppy litters, it's super thick and soft without making pups to hot.This is excellent value for money, it washes great even on a 90 wash and it allows any liquids to pass through the underlayer so pups are not lying in wet conditions.

Vet bedding is marvellous stuff and brilliant for puppies and older dogs alike. It washes well, wears well and is generally much liked by the animals. My only concern is that the backing is slippery on tiles or in metal cages. Otherwise, great stuff.

A kind customer drew this bedding to my attention recently when I mentioned the difficulties I was having keeping my 17 year old arthritic housecat warm and dry.Easily cut to size with no shedding, this bedding is so warm, thick and comforting for her, placed inside her igloo and works with or without the pet heatpad. I'd begun to find that despite all the vet could offer by way of medical intervention, my cat more frequently urinates outside her nearby litter tray causing her igloo bedding to become soiled by wicking up and retaining the excess moisture.This vet bedding draws the moisture away from the surface, keeping the animal dry and I can machine wash, dry and refit this vet bedding within 30 minutes.A great find, and I'm most grateful to the girl who recommended it to me, who uses it for her disabled rabbit.Highly recommend this vet bedding.

We ordered 2 lots of this for our whelping box but now they they’re bigger and in the main crate I’ve ordered another 3mx75cm and cut it to size.The pups obviously widdle a LOT! The vet bedding allows it to drain though and collect under the green mesh backing. Stiff at first in the washing mashing but after 3-4 washes it all softens up. You DO NEED to brush it after washing whilst it’s wet - this allows the springy fluffy bounce that keeps the widdle away from their bodies (so keeping them warm and dry). I personally is ‘Pettezzer’ a teezer grooming brush and also a metal tool general robust brush and it brings it up like new each time - takes about 10 mins per 1mx75cm to brush but it’s worth the effort and will keep the bedding useable for a lot lot longer. Great in the dryer and about 20mins on high or 35 mins on low heat.

Great length on it ideal for medium cages .Washes great.

This is great for lining the bottom of a kennel, it keeps it nice and padded but doesn't hold pee if there's an accident. The quality is a bit lacking though, the piece I got had one unfinished edge, and the other edge was cut all choppy and I had to trim it to be straight and not have little raggedy bits poking out.
