As advertised, but over priced. !
Still that is the deal and I'm sure they think it is worth every penny. I haven't tried it yet, so I'll reserve judgment of that aspect of the purchase

Great saddle, bad rope.
I give the saddle itself a very solid 4 stars. If it were just a bit wider I would give it 5 without hesitation. The stitching on it is very strong and done very well. The saddle has a number of tabs sewn onto the hardness to hang gear from which work great. The loops for the holding line are thick, strong and plenty large to easily connect and disconnect the carabiner. The construction on it is very nice. The metal clip, the leg straps, it's all done well. The safety tag on it shows that it's supposed to have the manufactured date on it, but it's not there. So the lifespan of 5 years, unless you remember when you got it specifically, won't do much good.My biggest gripe is the rope and prusik that came with it. This rope acts and feels far more like marine rope than it does climbing/safety rope. The first several times I tested and hung with it, the prusik was actually slipping up the rope as I put weight on it. I'm not sure if you can tell in the pics, but the compression of the rope where the prusik worked up and down, there is a very prominent sheen on it where it was squeezed. There is what feels like a waxy substance on the rope and you can see in the pics how dirty my hand got playing around with it adjusting the knot as needed. I kept having to slide it back up because of the slippage, which is not something you want in a tree at all. Plus it's not long enough to go around any sizeable tree. Even a smaller tree you won't have a ton of adjustment on so you might end up squeezed right up against it depending on the size.I will gladly be using the saddle as it's comfortable and I sit in it fine, though the prusik and rope I will be replacing with actual climbing rope before I take it into the woods.I definitely recommend the saddle. I hope they see this review though and reconsider the rope used on it. A longer rope that is actual climbing rope is definitely needed.

Great saddle
The media could not be loaded. Great saddle I am in the army and I don’t make enough to buy name brand stuff but this saddle is really good.

Nice But With Early Testing Only
I have been hunting for most of my fifty plus years, but I have never tried using one of these saddle seats. My son got one earlier this year and really likes it so I thought I would give one a try. This one seems really well made with heavy stitching and quality fabric. The main buckle is made of metal and the straps they are connected to are again, made with heavy material. The beaner clip is very heavy duty, similar to the ones a person uses for climbing. Finally, the mesh is strong, and it seems like it should last for quite a long time. The only thing of concern might be the plastic clips for the leg straps, they seem a bit undersized and maybe even underrated for this set up. I wish that they would use a heavier plastic or even a metal for this spot. I will of course monitor all aspects of this seat but that will be the main area I keep an eye on. To use this seat, you simply put your legs through the holes and then strap the "belt" around and secure it and then go look for a tree. Overall, its fairly comfortable but does take a bit of getting used to - again for any climbers out there it feels very much like a basic harness you wear while climbing. I have tried this in the backyard a couple of times and basically, I just find a notch in a tree and then position the black rope around it and secure it in the clip. The rope is a bit shorter than you would expect so if you plan to use it on a large tree you might have to do some finagling. Once in place you simply lean back and sit; its surprisingly comfortable without any binding or spots that might cut off blood flow. Time and repeated use will be the biggest test and if it doesn't stand up or issues come up, I will come back and update my review. For now, I have no problem recommending this seat and am actually looking forward to getting out and using it.

Nice Saddle for Smaller Person
This saddle is very well constructed with nice materials and stitching. The clasps are nice, work well, and are good quality. I like the fact that the bridge can be unhooked, as it makes getting into the saddle a bit easier. The bridge is made with a fairly slippery material and the prusik will want to slide. You can avoid this by spreading out the knot before applying a load. Mess with it before you use it in a tree to get a feel for it.All that being said, this saddle is pretty small and would be best suited for skinny/smaller framed people. My other biggest gripe is that the instructions are absolutely useless. Considering the use of this product, and the fact that your life is literally hanging on it, the instructions could be much better. This is obvious when reading some of the other reviews of this product. If you're new to saddle hunting, do some surfing and watch videos before risking your life by incorrectly using this product.Quality wise it deserves more, but I'm giving it 3 stars due to the small size and the terrible instructions.

Nice Saddle
I have not yet taken this saddle to the woods for an extended sit, but getting a feel for it on a tree in our yard I was very comfortable; no hip pinch. The stitching and materials seem to be of good quality. The metal buckle locks tight and the prusik knot works like it should. The molle system is always nice for adding pouches or other accessories. The bridge material is sturdy/solid. The material is similar to amsteel. I think a few other reviewers misclassified this as a lineman's belt; it is not. It's meant to attach your bridge to your teacher (not included). The looped end has a nice bury and the tag end is finished with generous amount of heat-shrink tubing. The provided carabiner is stout and secures/locks silently if you take your time.As a few other reviews have mentioned, the manufacturers date & saddle expiration date are blank. You'll have to write in your purchase date. That's not a deal breaker for me, but worth noting. Overall I am very pleased with this saddle. The craftsmanship of the product meets my expectations. I'm looking forward to hitting the woods with it this fall.
