Metro Sling V2 RFID Blocking Crossbody Bag

This is the solution. I initially bought the Alpaca Flight Sling and found it satisfactory but my prescription sunglasses occupied a significant portion of the main compartment, which concerned me about usable space and potential damage throughout the day. The Metro Sling V2, despite being only half a liter larger, offers considerably more functional space, and its vertical orientation and gusseted opening make for improved storage and convenient access on the go. I am glad I made the switch. The bag itself is good quality, the YKK waterproof zippers are the best. It's more rigid but I like that as it will stand upright on a flat surface. I think the handle on top will come in handy as well as the anchor points for carabiners on the side of the bag.

Works well to carry iphone, sunglasses (in hardshell case), wallet, pen, keys etc. The size works well for me; this is the 'just right' size - not too big that I carry more than I need and not too small that I leave any necessities behind. Zippers appear to be waterproof, nicely organized without having too many pockets, strap length is appropriate. Not crazy about the proprietary strap attachment hardware but not bothered about it enough to change the hardware (yet). I would prefer a standard snap type clip. The strap length is easy to adjust. I don't like tethered key keepers so I removed it. As mentioned above, the only other change I may make is replacing the shoulder strap hardware.

I love the size, design and materials used, what I don’t like is the strap! It’s too skinny that in only 1hour using it, with just a phone, flashlight inside, and a small notepad, I have to keep switching from left to right shoulder, my shoulder are now sore, maybe redesign to have a wider strap or maybe one of those optional shoulder pad inserts.

Perfect for the Zoom H5 Microphone field microphone! Has a lot more space than other reviews suggest. Holds H5 with deadcat, and Zoom shotgun w deadcat wind screen, small ultrapod tripod, extra batteries, SD card, AirTag, pens, field notes. The included strap is great but replaceable - works great with PeakDesign strap ! I love the top loading and side walls so the mic doesn't fall out even when it's wide open!! Great bag! ------------------ Update... This is listed incorrectly as RFID blocking. I can't find any mention of this on the Alpaka website!

Amazing quality. This design is a little different if your not use to vertical slings.

After my recent trip I am saddened to say I will no longer be using this sling. In this last trip my sling came off and fell and I didn’t realize it until someone approached and asked if this sling was mine. The latch had came undone and slipped from under my jacket in the rain. All the items I had in my sling was soaked and my phone couldn’t charge until it was dry. The latch on my sling kept unlatching itself and the sling would just come off, the key ring kept coming off my key rings, the bag is not water resistant, my belonging kept getting wet. This sling doesn’t feel natural due to the position of the latches. I kept finding myself repositioning my bag to feel more comfortable in cars and planes. Alpaka does make great products and I have 2 other items they make which are great but I cannot recommend this.

Stylish bag with a good amount of room the strap is awesome

Super lightweight and ideal for interrelation travel ( which is why I bought it) Id consider other Alpaca production in the future as this was quite modular .

Love this sling. Enough room for some essentials. Great bag to use while out and about on vacation.
