I sprayed some on and we could smell it all over the house! I wanted to see how it smelled and we couldn't get rid of the smell; even after washing my arms it still permeated and hung about. Having said this I would say that this product probably would work very well but don't use it in the house; wait until you are outside to use it which I'm sure is how it's intended to be used. The smell isn't unpleasant it's just very strong which is what one needs if you're out in the woods or hiking; it is just a bit too strong for me. It still earns 5 points though because it works well doing the job it was designed to do. I recommend this product.

When walking the dog, I find me near bushes & grasses both short & tall. So before going out, I spray this natural tick deterrent and off I go. So far no ticks and no bugs bothering me. The dog takes flea & tick meds so he’s ok. I wish there was ticks meds for humans but this spray seems to be working well. I have recommended it to several friends.

This product was immediately my favorite. The scent is strong but not overpowering. It's easy to spray on and it doesn't stain. I even ran it through my hair for scalp protection! Even though I am very cautious with clothing worn for tick protection, and I do tick checks, I believe this product added an extra layer of defense.

It works but wears off quickly if you are outside all day you will have to keep reapplying or you will still get bit it is a strong smell but doesn’t bother me as much as others

Seems to work. Haven’t had a tick on me since using but the smell is strong and not great.

This is not a citronella based product. It smells like cloves. it is a strong smell to repel insects such as ticks. You can put it on your clothes if you don't want the smell on your skin or hair. I like how it is natural oils and from a small company. Recommended.

I use this religiously when going outside in the spring, summer & fall. Living in the country you need some type of repellent and this is the best one I’ve found. Even works on my horse to keep the flies and mosquitoes away!

I'm apparently a hot commodity when it comes to mosquitos and this stuff successfully kept them at bay for the hours I needed it to. I haven't used it overnight at any point, but I've noticed it still lingering on my skin the following morning after application. This stuff seriously works! The scent is strong and smells like cloves, so if that's not your cup of tea, you might find it unbearable, but I found it to be much better than your typical DEET spray.
