Amazing results with very easy to use kit. Very happy to give life back to this precious and unique instrument made out of wood. Do it yourself was never as easy and rewarding! Thanks Craft Cottage team for putting together a kit with reusable components of great quality! The epoxy comes in a container that is easy to open and close without spills, the kit also includes all tools required for the repair; all of them are very easy to clean to put back in the nice box and reuse. I enjoyed doing this project and cannot wait to make time to add more decorations with golden mix to my now usable charango guitar! This kit opens the door to a whole new world of creativity I didn’t imagine was possible.

The media could not be loaded. Loooooove everything I received. The quality is great and you get a lot with the purchase. The box is super cute and like the various colors. New to this technique so I am not ready to share my results lol but more pics soon to come. So far, I can say that everything is very good quality and the instructions in the manual are very easy to follow.

The media could not be loaded. I just got the Kintsugi Kit and these are my first impressions: the packaging is super nice and it feels like a lot of thought went into this kit. Everything looks high-quality and it comes with a big mat and some practice plates. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m already impressed with how it’s all put together. Can’t wait to start fixing things!

I honestly didn't expect this to be epoxy resin as their "Kintsugi Glue." I am very familiar with epoxy resin although I have never used it quite like this. There is not a lot of resin OR resin putty included. What there is a TON of though is the mica powders. The tools included are of decent quality - often you get very flimsy stirrers with kits such as this but I was surprised to find that these are actually pretty sturdy.My main complaint (as it often is) is the price they are asking for the set. Epoxy resin can be expensive but there just isn't enough in here to justify the cost. Same with the powders. If they knocked about $10 off the kit it would be worth it. Putting a fancy name on a resin kit doesn't really justify the price in my opinion. However, if you have a bit of money to spare this would make an incredible gift for the loveable klutz in your life.

This is an absolutely beautiful product. It arrived on time and carefully packaged. The box, the contents and it’s presentation exceeded our expectations. Great idea and design.

This kit is magnificent! When I think back and reflect upon the gifts that I have received over the course of my first 40 years on this planet and remember those few that trilled me, inspired me, and those that I just loved, I can honestly say that this kit would be among them if it had been gifted to me! I have already decided I am going to get another one of these for my 20 year old daughter for Christmas.The box is beautiful and will be easily wrapped. Everything inside fits snuggly into a custom foam insert that keeps everything safe and would prevent any damage...and no one will be able to tell what is inside if they shake their gifts!I love that there are four different metallic colors so that you can select your favorite or use multiples on one piece.Items included for safety and protection of you and your work surface:-There is a gigantic silicone mat to protect your work surface, and it has a somewhat sticky back so that it will never slip off the table/desk. This is especially important when working with epoxy that could make a permanent mess on something.-There are two little silicone "coasters" and-Two itty bitty silicone spatula/spoons for mixing the epoxy and metallic powder for your work.-There is a fist full of black nitrile gloves.For tools you get:-rough sandpaper-a knife type tool-two paint brushesYou get two adorable little dishes to break and practice repairing before you attempt to work on an item of your own. These little dishes are so adorable that I almost don't want to break them! There are little flaws in them, this might help me become willing to break them.There are only three negatives I can give this kit:1. It is stinky/smelly. You have to expect this with a box full of epoxy and silicone, just be aware that it has a mediocre chemical type smell upon opening.2. The gloves are large. I have small gloves of my own, so I will give these to my husband for his toolbox, they would be far too big for me. I would not be able to work in them.3. It is not food safe and it is difficult to deduce this information from the kit.I think it should be labeled very clearly on the box in numerous locations that this is not for repairing dishes from which you hope to continue to eat. People tend to search for Kintsugi kits hoping to fix broken dishes that they love and want to continue to use. If you want to work on your favorite teacup or sushi set, you need to save those for after you practice with this kit. A kit that is food safe will be much more expensive.This is an absolutely beautiful and inspiring kit. I love it and would be overjoyed to receive such an item as a gift! If you are searching for a kit to give as a gift this is the one to get, it will not disappoint!
