Mine is making a lot of noise despite little use, how do i fix it?

Mine is still very quiet after a lot of use - maybe yours has a defect. Suggest you return it

would this work as a wedding cake display?

Absolutely! Lots of buyer use it for displaying cake

Could you display a six foot Christmas tree on it.

If it's an artificial tree (so fairly light) and you used a piece of board or something similar to support the feet, I see no reason why not. I used it a couple of years ago to display a 3 tier fondant covered wedding cake that was probably in the region of 15kg - so should cope fine with a tree. Keep in mind the cake was only on there for 5 or 6 hours. I'm not sure how it would cope for any great length of time.

I video, it must be very quite. Is it quite?

Yes, it's fairly quiet. It makes a little bit of noise but it's low and a constant sound, so it's not very noticeable. I used it for videos as well, and I did detach the audio, but if the environment your working in is quiet, then I don't see the sound being too much of an issue. I hope this helps!
