As one pitcher of coffee is finishing up, I get another started so I don't have to wait till it stops raining or whatever to swish out the grinds to the compost pile, and that way my coffee is available without interruption. Three 68oz. pitchers are very ideal for a basic set-up, and the third one of course can be also used for impromptu sangria, etc. for guests.
