FlashingBlinkyLights LED Poi Ball Swirling Light Rave Toy (Set of 2) Color Changing Poi Balls

LOOK: On the top of the Poi there is one button which cycles the poi through the following order - Multi-Color Strobe, Multi-Color Morph, Solid Purple, Blinking Red, Blinking Green, Blinking Blue, OFF. The lanyard comes attached and can be adjusted to be 20 inches in length, but starts around 15 inches. On the other end of the lanyard there are two finger loops so you can hold the Poi without fear of losing grip. The Poi themselves do look like the picture with the exception that there is no mode that can create several distinct colors at the same time. At least not without the inclusion of a psychotropic, which is not included with the Poi. They are packed well, making it hard to damage the product in transit. Each poi is wrapped in a small plastic bag and comes in its own small box. Then the two boxes are placed in a slightly larger shipping box. I received my Poi from FlashingBlinkyLights Inc. FEEL: These are really great poi to learn with. The exterior shell is a very soft malleable pvc material which shields you from any bruising while you work out what you are doing. I'd recommend watching a few YouTube tutorials to get up to speed. The finger looks are made of nylon and seem comfortable for limited use. SPECIFIC: They Come with 3xLR44 batteries inside with a plastic slip inserted so the batteries don't drain while in storage. The batteries are secured with a plastic cover held in place with a small Phillips screw driver. This means you will need a screw driver to replace the batteries should they suddenly die. The LED housing is made in China and is glued to the soft white PVC shell. Overall the Poi seem well made, there is no excessive gluing on around the seams and the lanyard is of sturdy material. I'd say the weakest point would be the clasp that joins the lanyard to the loop that fastens to the poi, and should it break it could be easily replaced with a trip to Michael's. CONCLUSION: I would say these are a great cheap beginner poi. At around $20 with shipping you will be hard pressed to find a better pair. They should last until you graduate to a more expensive model or until the novelty wears off and you leave them in a draw.

These are so fun to play with!

They look so cool and they are so much fun to experiment and play with. Also, I love that they are soft so when you hit yourself with them (and you will) it doesn’t hurt you. I love the lighting effects as well. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that I bought three pairs within a few weeks and had to return tow sets because the string separated from one side if the balls on one and one of them detached from the hand attachment on a ball from the second set. Both were unusable at that point and had to be returned. One of the balls is fraying slightly on the third set now, which is a bummer, but I still love playing with them so much I don’t want to stop.

I’m no poi expert but these worked great for my needs. Looks pretty cool.

I bought as a gift for my teenagers. They loved playing with them. They are colorful and fun to toss around

This is a fun set of poi balls, the lights work great and the balls are soft so you can't really do much damage to yourself if your poi trick gets out of control. I like this set for practicing new tricks because the balls are soft yet have a good weight for spinning. Great value for the price.

As others noted, the strings on these broke basically immediately. I played with them for an afternoon and one snapped and the other is fraying. I hate to be wasteful, so I bought replacement cord, but that bumps the price of these up to more like $27, and for $34 you can get the rechargeable version with the carrying bag and less complaints about rope snapping. I would, not recommend them. I had poi I got like 20 years ago that had string that lasted forever. So as far as I can tell, this is not normal. Otherwise the orbs themselves are as expected, and the metal connectors seem to be fine. So really just the rope that spins is like, horrible.

Fun lights just to carry

Super fun reusable toy - better than glow sticks since it has unlimited uses. Cool to zig zag in the dark with and create patterns in the air.

So cool! 100% beginner and just so everyone knows it only hurts slightly when you get hit in the face! 🤣 Colours are very vibrant!

Third time using them and both of the ropes broke off. Really unfortunate. I don’t understand why they aren’t made thicker
