I have a iphone 6plus with thick two part case and could fit much larger phone in the rear pocket, i keep my eye glass in the front pocket and a pen in the loop some mics stuff in zipper pocket I looked at a iphone 12 few days ago and it would have no problem fitting in this monster holster

My phone in it's plastic protection case is 6-3/4" tall x 3-1/8" wide x 5/8" thick. it is completely below the top of the case when inserted in it and there is likely room for a 2nd phone it. I looked up your phone dimensions and they are smaller than that with out a plastic case. I don't know how big air pods are. -Capron4555
