Review: Perfect - I was looking to replace my european plug Turkish coffee pot with this one, and I was skeptical due to some comments but it works great. It boils the water very quickly and my coffee tastes great! The handle could be a little heavier or wider but I have no other complaints. You can use a metal spoon. I also use it to boil water for my tea because it’s quicker than a kettle.
Review: Don’t hesitate - it’s a gem - This ETHNIQ Turkish Coffee Pot is the answer to my gas range problem. I have made Turkish coffee the traditional way for 20+ years on an electric stove. Moved to a new kitchen with a gas stove where the grate was too big to hold the small pot. Searched for a solution on desertcart and compared diffusion grates with an electric pot. Rolled the dice and gambled on the electric pot. Great results! It’s a rapid caffeine gratification with no cleanup when you have an accidental overflow on the stove. Calculated the 65 ML water measurement into ounces (a little over 2) and used the enclosed scoop to measure coffee. Added sugar, stirred, and 30 seconds later I poured an amazing cup of coffee. On/off with works perfectly, handle feels perfectly sturdy, rinsed out cleanly. A gem! I think the quality of the coffee is important. There are several Middle Eastern stores nearby where I can buy freshly ground Turkish coffee with customized addition of cardamom - it’s worth searching your town for this treasure! Search desertcart for Turkish coffee set ups. There are beautiful trays and vessels to make this a grand ritual. I’ve curated a small collection of cups from multiple visits to Goodwill. It’s an affordable indulgence that adds to the beauty of my coffee break. Don’t wait - buy an ETHNIQ!
