I know the ingredients are natural and gentle but does this one strip hair dye colour out of your hair like the curls shampoo does?

is there sulfates in this shampoo despite it saying one of the ingredients is sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate?

Hi love, I’m not an expert on components of products. I think you should ask the brand, but I think it has sulfate because it cleans really well and only sulfate products will do that job. I hope I could help.

Is this animal cruelty free product as I’ve seen mixed reviews and answers on the subject, Does anyone knows for sure please?

The UK ones were always cruelty free. Currently, I believe all products sold globally are cruelty free. see small explanation below:
In the past, they sold to China which is a country that requires animal testing on cosmetics by law. 
at the time, the US also didn’t have *strict* animal testing laws— so Maui also shipped the animal-tested version sold in China to the US (and some other countries with lenient testing laws) for ease of shipping. 
Because of this, there was a lot of confusion. Certainly the brand MAUI wasn’t entirely cruelty free, but SOME products sold in SOME countries were; and it was essentially at the manufacturers discretion and just depended on who the stores were buying their Maui supplies from.
 However, They have since stopped selling in China and have phased the cruelty products/manufacturers out—  so now ALL products (as in, Maui products sold globally) should be cruelty free (unless otherwise stated, meaning if u buy it from somewhere with old stock, it may be the cruelty stock). 
**regardless, Maui products sold in the UK and EU have always been cruelty free. (brand started around 2016 and uk/Eu banned animal cruelty products in 2013)
