Puncture Proof PU Wheel for Wheelbarrow-Complete Size 4.80/4.00-8

This is a perfect replacement for the pneumatic tyre that came with my barrow. I really don't know why barrows are sold with blow up tyres; they always puncture or go flat and replacing the inner tube is a devil of a job. The spindle from my previous wheel fitted the central hole perfectly and due to the internal bearings, it moves smoothly. I had to make up some spacers as this wheel is a bit narrower than the previous one - I ordered some neoprene washers at the right diameter on the Internet (not Amazon - think a popular auction site .....).Delivery from Germany was quick and well within the advertised delivery timescale.

Quick and efficient delivery and the product is everything it should be. I had to make a small modification to the wheelbarrow axle but apart from that it was easy to fit.

I wish i'd bought this years ago! Having got so fed up with mending punctures and buying new tyres for the wheel barrow we use for poo-picking our horse paddocks (they get puntured by the hawthorn cuttings when the hedge is cut) I finally decided to push the boat out and get one of these. Needed to thicken the 'spindle thingy' that goes through the middle, I did this by cutting a piece of heavy duty hose pipe to the right length and pushing the metal rod through it, and it works a treat! Months later the hedge has had it's spring cut, and no punctures, sorted! Buy one, you won't regret it. Oh, nearly forgot to say, it arrived soooo quickly!

When I ordered this Wheelbarrow wheel to replace my old tubeless wheel I wasn't expecting too much for the price.When it arrived the first thing I noticed was just how well made it was, with a good treaded tyre and plastic wheel. On closer inspection I saw that the internal axle hole was fitted with built-in needle bearings to ensure easy movement when loaded, compared to the old one which was just a smooth cylinder which required lubricating every so often.I know it's only a wheel for a barrow but what a difference it's made to gardening chores.Typical German engineering on a small scale.

A brilliant piece of engineering. All wheelbarrows should come fitted with this as standard. The only thing about it that could be better is that they could provide it with a range of fittings to make it easier to fit to different types of barrow, but having said that my old barrow is now better than it was when new.

A good wheel and tyre but as others have said it is quite wide in the middle and needs some work to get it to work properly.

Only fitted few weeks ago. I hope will last many years

I made a mistake in not getting the black version with the axle kit supplied. Tyre and wheel look well made.

je les ai monté sur un broyeur Eliet... j'ai du couper 1cm de chaque côté... mais top. j'en avais marre des crevaisons...

J'ai utilisé 2 roues pour remplacer celles de ma brouette. La qualité est bonne, les dimensions des roues correspondaient aux anciennes, mais la longueur du moyeu était plus longue de 3cm environ, et le diamètre intérieur de 20mm au lieu 15mm. Il a fallu que je meule l'excédent de longueur ( j'ai pu m'apercevoir que l'acier utilisé est très épais), et que je mette un tube intermédiaire dans le moyeu pour compenser le diamètre excessif. Le résultat est correct, et les pneus ne risquent plus de crever
