I purchased these to use a wireless microphone with line output with my 30 year old analog mixer with microphone level input. I use this set up about once a year, so didn't want to buy a new mixer and need to mix wired microphones and wireless. This attenuator gave a clear sound.

I used this to pad down line level from a balanced DAC, which was too hot an input for a Crown amp. It is a sturdy well-made adaptor, works perfectly. No noise, and a much finer adjustment and broader useful range of the level settings are now possible on the Crown.
