My husband has used this and loves it. It works great to pull a variety of pullers off. He used it for a harmonic balancer and it worked really good.

I removed and reinstalled harmonic balancers on a GM Ecotec 2.4L and a recalcitrant 2005 Ford Duratech 3.0. The Ford was particularly difficult, but I got the job done. This tool is intended for occasional use (hopefully) and is better than those that I bought at the discount tool store. The jaws are beefier, and the j-shape is helpful.

This is a fantastic harmonic balancer puller kit. It is well build and worked perfect removing the balancer from my 2012 Cadillac SRX. If you have just a single job to do or need a tool that will last through many jobs, this is the perfect item. This is a professional grade tool and the quality certainly shows.

Used on one ls balancer. Used lubricant. Threads are worn now. Not very durable . Center pins bend under load.

There are a few occasions that I need this kind of puller tool to pull something out when I am doing DIY projects in the house or working with my car. With this puller tool, it really make my life so much easier. I would say if it works, it's 10x easier than without it. The build quality is really good. comes with a case that contain everything in it.Overall, great pulling tool for any pulling tasks in the house. Definitely a great addition to my tool box.

This kit is very good and priced just right. I would recommend though that you also have a selection of varying stoppers to place in the bore to provide a solid base to push against, which are not included unfortunately. Though these are not always needed, I have encountered a few that this screw would not be able to fit and stay in place.That said, I am very happy with my selection. It comes with most all that you will need to complete this task. It is actually a very well thought out kit. I also like the case. It seems to be well made. Even better, it actually uses a hinge and not just a flap that will come apart quickly.I can, one of the few times I will, recommend this to anyone needing a puller. The mechanism along with all the jaws and pins are high quality and the case is much better than most I have come across. I can and do highly recommend this with complete confidence.

Looks to be of quality. Definitely made some things way easier using this. Was easy to remove a bearing with this. This is a great kit for the value. I definitely recommend you have one of these in your tool set.
