Nice shape more upright than previous trackball mice I have owned. Seems a more natural hand position. No hand, wrist or arm aches to report. Linked with computer well and no issues. Good mouse

It is a great product! Very comfortable to use and has a great construction quality. The only flaw I see in its design is that it's somewhat bulky. I'm a digital nomad, and portability is a key factor for me; to be honest, this one is huge! Not portable at all. Other than the size, it's a great gadget, seriously! I will keep it only because it's extremely comfy and satisfying to use.

Excellent Quality product, lovely solid feel to it and so comfortable to use. I was getting "Mouse Shoulder" at a PC all day, but not having to move my arm, relieves the pain. The button controls are also brilliant, with an extra forward and back button for web navigation on top of the usual zoom and L/R buttons.

My Logitech MX Ergo left click finally gave up and they one thing that I would have changed with that mouse was to increase the angle/tilt. So I decided to go vertical with the ProtoArc EM05, I can confirm that the newer NL version is shipped despite no mention of it on the page. The mouse isn't completely vertical, your hand ends up resting very comfortably and naturally at a nice angle. For me the angle feels nicer than the Logi MX Ergo and M575 that I have owned. While the mouse isn't heavy the wide base and grippy feet means that it doesn't move around in use. Easy to access and pop-out ball which makes cleaning easy. The switches feel soft/mushy and are quiet, not a massive fan of how it feels but others may like it. Downsides, no software. You can't customise the extra mouse buttons or change the DPI that the orange middle button switches to. Un-accurate senor, while you won't notice it for the most part but if you need to click on something small or do anything that requires accuracy or small movement then it struggles. Overall not bad for the price.

Best trackball mouse on Amazon. I have tried various other brands: Elecom, Perixx, Logitech. This Mouse is superior in terms of ergonomics, affordability and compatibility. As an improvement, I would like to see a more premium version: 1) With better switches, the mouse buttons don't seem like they'll last - but I could be wrong. 2) A wired option. Overall very impressed by this ProtoArc mouse. Definitely recommended.

Easy to setup and comfortable to use. It is a downgrade from the Logitec MX trackball that this was replacing. The mouse movement isn't as smooth regardless of what DPI you select, the trackball isn't as smooth for moving with your thumb. But my biggest issue with this device, is that it connects to three devices. If you are buying this, it is probably the feature you want the most. So why is the change device button underneath the device! You physically have to pick it up, which isn't easy due to the ergonomics of the device and press a tiny button each time you want to switch. The Logitech had a easy to reach button next to the scroll wheel.

Bislang habe ich mit dem Logitech MX Ergo Trackball gearbeitet. Da das Gerät derzeit nicht mehr käuflich ist (nur die S-Version, die aus unerfindlichen Gründen nicht an meinem PC funktioniert) habe ich mich nach einer Alternative umgeschaut. Ich habe den ProtoArc EM05 NL Vertical Trackball jetzt seit Juni 2025 in (Dauer-)Betrieb und bin sehr zufrieden mit Kopplung, Genauigkeit und Handhabung. Durch die noch vertikalere Handhaltung (verglichen mit MX Ergo) ist das Arbeiten mit diesem Eingabegerät noch entspannter. Der Trackball ist für Menschen wie mich mit großen Händen sehr gut geeignet, ich kann mir auch vorstellen, dass Menschen mit "normaler" Handgröße sehr angenehm damit arbeiten können. Der ProtoArc ist auch zukünftig das Eingabegerät meiner Wahl.

He probado varios trackballs de pulgar, incluidos los típicamente recomendados de la marca Logitech. Sin embargo este es el mejor que he tenido hasta el momento, principalmente por la posición vertical en la que me permite colocar la mano. Es la combinación perfecta entre un mouse vertical y un trackball. Hay pequeños detalles que mejoraría, como puede ser tener un botón más accesible para el cambio entre radio/bluetooth 1/bluetooth 2, pero es un detalle demasiado pequeño. Si estás en busca de un trackball para usar con el pulgar no busques más, porque este es el mejor de todos sin duda.

Super produit, j’ai pas fini de l’explorer, il semble y avoir 2 vitesses de défilement de la souris, les clics des boutons sont doux, prise en main naturelle… Parfois la main glisse sur la partie qui se trouve sous l’"hypothenar"…..

Realy good ergonomics and feel. Only cons is that the power button feels very flimsy so I don't power it off.
