IR60 Pickup Hard Body Shell with Bed Rack for 1/18 RC Crawler TRX4M Defender Bronco(Black)

This body is awesome compared to the stock bronco. It looks great and doesn't have bumpers that get hung up on every rock like the stock bronco bumpers. Even with stock tires/wheels, shocks and frame there is still a tiny bit of tire rub at full lock and stuff. Body is shorter and weighs quite a bit less. Noticable lower center of gravity. The only other mod I had at time of install was injora high clearance brass links.

I like how this is molded in colored plastic and not painted. Other Injora shells are molded in white plastic and painted, and the paint will rub off. I have not noticed that to be the case with this. I also love the small details, such as the rear view mirrors. On my Bronco, the mirrors were the first thing to break off. With this, the mirrors are a soft rubbery material that snap into place. You wont have to worry about them breaking off after rolling over. I also had it paired it with the Meus 2 speed transmission. With a Injora 11kg servo for the shifting servo, it is a tight fit. It has some slight interference with the interior window, which could safely be cut out to provide the 1mm of space required without impacting the structure or aesthetics of the shell. I ended up swapping it out to put the 2 speed transmission on another truck and put the INJORA Battery ESC Receiver Tray Double Decker Carbon Fiber Plate in. On that note, it pairs VERY will with the INJORA Battery ESC Receiver Tray Double Decker Carbon Fiber Plate. This tray setup allows the truck to have a 3S battery, and the esc tray is right at window level of the shell, so it would be perfect for an FPV camera! It's like that tray was meant for this body (and possible the IR40 body as well).

Love this body on my ascent 18 brushless. Its not made for it so it took some fabrication but well worth it.

I'm on body #4 seeing how fast I can make it go, and of the available bodies for trx4m this is the best balance of light and durable. They have all broken in the same place, the tailgate for lack of a better term, where the cage is thinnest. Screwing the latch together helps tremendously. Some have survived high speed crashes with curbs and other models that destroyed the frame but not the body. Anyhow, my only complaints are the hardware kit coming up short on screws you do need while having excess of those you don't, which evens out after a couple builds, and one came with a badly molded latch, which injora wasn't concerned about.

Great looking truck and less brittle than the ir40. Weight is about the same as the others out there just less fender flare to worry about. Putting it together was fine except for the front clip mount, that had to be installed upside down to make it click in place. Fits both the trx4m, and injora frames. Hopefully in the future, they make the mounts and hinges in aluminum as a suggested purchase for trx4m and injora rcs.

Great alternate body for my Redcat Ascent 18. Works well with the Injora mounts.

Fit perfect. Good quality for the price. Easy to install. Built of durable plastic. Functions very well with my tow hitch.
