I am converting old movies (that we had previously converted to DVD from video) to MP4 . First step was to get the 12 DVD’s worth of data onto my laptop. This LG unit worked great. It was plug and play, and the job was done quickly (a relative term when dealing with so much data).

I purchased this USB dvdrw for my laptop that only has a DVD-R and for an extra for some of my computers as a backup. I have used it and it seems quite good, certainly convenient. The price was not onerous for someone low-income.

There is no negative starts here otherwise i would have given -100 ***. It is not even working, not even reading anything. Also it is not ejecting the inserted CD. Just playing reading rythm loudly and do nothing. I returned it

This external DVD drive works great with Windows 11 Pro. I had bought another brand previously for my laptop, but it was not compatible with Windows 11. No compatibility issues here. It was quick to install and worked seamlessly.

Cons:- shipped in store box with a label slapped on letting anyone know what it was.- 8x so only 10-11mb/second. Incredibly slow for anything other than storage. Don't think you'll be watching anything in real time or high resolution on this.Pros:- CHEAP. 8 bucks isn't bad for something like this.- Reads CDs as well.

Easy to use and solid performer. Have used it for uploading 100+ CDs to my MAC and it has performed faultlessly, unlike a cheaper, unknown brand that proved unable to do so for several CDs. Feels solid and competent
