plastic not epoxy
After reviewing the product description on the manufactures website I thought this would be a good purchase. The product is really plastic. The is no element of a true epoxy surfboard to be found. This product is also supposed to have a fin come with it per the manufacturer website, but it did not arrive with the board. The bag for the fin and the instructions were there, just no fin. I am glad that it didn't come with it though. This meant it was not a complete item and I could return it for a full refund to Amazon. There are much better products out there to spend the money on, I would not recommend this to anyone. It's a shame because I also bought the paddle, which looks really nice, but now I have no use for it. I'm going to rely on the local shops so I can see the board before buying the next one, and it'll come with a paddle.

Great value
The previous reviewer is right -- this isn't a "traditional" epoxy board, but that's also not what it claims to be. Have you ever rented a surfboard or SUP that's shaped like a foam/glass board but feels a lot more durable? That's what this is like. This is a great board for beginners/intermediate paddlers and it's super versatile for use on flat water or in surf. It's pretty stable, fairly fast and tracks well. For less than $800, I haven't seen anything better than this anywhere. I've had a ton of fun on mine and it has taken some pretty solid hits without getting any dings.I was looking for an inexpensive all-around board that would stand up to some abuse, and I've been really happy with this one.
