**Q: Are the contact lugs all soldered or are they crimpable?**
A: can be crimped or soldered

**Q: I'm not sure if this is the male or female connector, but i have this exact one and i am looking for the other side.  how do i find that?**
A: Anderson Housings are genderless, by color.  I gray will connect to an identical gray, red to red, etc.

**Q: How do you aseemble the connectors? I soldered the wire to the funny looking terminal. But how do you insert that spade lug into the connector?**
A: You should just be able to insert the wire contacts (lugs) into the end of the connector housing that has the rounded opening. You will notice that there are retention springs inside the housings that will hold the contact in place once you insert the wire/contact far enough. Then you can connect 2 housings together on the opposite (squared) openings. Hope that answers it for you. Thanks!

**Q: Are these rated for wet (outdoor) environments?**
A: Yes, they are made of corrosion resistant materials mine are mounted on my truck rack and boat loader.
