Oyster Shells Stainless Steel Reusable

These were exactly what I needed! I'm allergic to shellfish and after seeing my beau devour a half dozen charbroiled oysters in New Orleans I wanted to lick his plate! After some creative brainstorming I came across the Oyster Mushroom! It's said to be the same texture and mouth feel of a real oyster! I ordered these shells, copied a few oyster recipes down and patiently waited for delivery! I was on pins and needles waiting but the arrived fast! I gathered all my ingredients and went to town! The shells are a nice large size! It even came with a broiled oyster recipe and some other suggested uses. One pic had 3 med sized shrimp in them. They are flat on the bottom (unlike a natural oyster's shell) which helps keep them balanced while cooking. Also because they are even thickness all around it cooks fast and even. My recipe with the oyster mushrooms turned out great! The beau even agreed! Now I can enjoy my version of oysters!

I like these stainless steel shells to cook oysters in. You don't mess with the dirty natural shells wondering if you got them "clean enough." Works good for shrimp too.Don't believe them when they tell you that all you do is put them in the dishwasher. Ain't so! You need to soak them in soapy water after use, use a Brillo pad on them to clean off cooked on food, then you can put them in the dishwasher.I have three dozen of the shells and I may order another two dozen of these.

I used these to make chargrilled oysters in the oven. I had wanted to purchase the ceramic shells, but just couldn’t justify the cost of those. These worked out very well. I wish they were a little smaller, but it worked just fine by putting two oysters per shell. They cleaned up very easily in the dishwasher. I did spray them with a little canola oil before adding the oysters and cheeses.

I love these shells. I normally buy whole raw Oysters, but with shipping for 100 Oysters being almost as much as the Oysters, cost was a consideration. This year I bought a Gallon of Shucked Select Chesapeake Pride from our local Grocery Store and had to pay no shipping we got over 200 large Oysters in the gallon. We have eaten Oysters over the Holiday every way you can think of, but the way I like best is to just spoon a couple big ones on each shell, dress with your favorite condiments and slurp away, no shell fragments, no sand, no algae.These are a great product...

Would be great if a little larger-Large Oysters fill to the top and boil over, medium and small do fine. Was easy clean-up, lot better than cleaning shells! Little pricey, but still work well for u Oyster Lovers-Room to spoon on peppers, onions, sauce, etc-Easy for presentation and nice to have twelve little dishes--I use wax paper inbetween to separate easily. Only recommendation to manufacture-Make a little bigger or offer the larger version.

Love, Love,LOVE these! We also bought the outset 76225 and tried a dozen grilled Rockefeller in each. These stainless steel shells were AMAZING!! I bought two more sets. We will never use the outset pan after the way these shells grill. If you spray with Pam before grilling and clean the immediately after eating your oysters, they are super easy to clean.

Shells were exactly what I was looking for. Reusable, sturdy and large enough to make any receipe you can imagine. Very satisfied!
