Easy installation, feels and looks great!
I am really stupid when it comes to screen protector installation and really appreciate how this product gives all the tools to make it as easy as possible. It's pretty close to being idiot-proof, and there's another screen protector in the package for a second chance. My first attempt at installation I did NOT follow instructions properly.. 100% my own stupid laziness. I put it on slightly crooked and let a ton of dust and cat hair in. But thanks to the other screen protector inside I was able to try again, with more awareness about the potential ways I could mess up, and it looks perfect! I actually didn't realize there were 2 screen protectors in there at first and emailed the business after my first failure. They responded VERY quickly and kindly and were prepared to take further steps to assist me even if I did manage to mess up both attempts. I never thought I'd be so excited about a screen protector but they are usually such a frustrating experience for me and this product & business left me feeling very positive.

Effective; Easy to Use and Clean
I do all my school work on an iPad, with an Apple Pencil. We don't have textbooks or printed slides anymore, all my note taking, annotating, and research are done on my iPad. Very quickly I noticed my handwriting was becoming sloppy, the smooth surface of the screen did not have any resistance to my pencil. While writing notes quickly, I would create exaggerated letters, and hard to read words. That's when I looked into paperlike. This screen protector is a life saver. Now the screen has resistance to my pencil, it forces my hand slower, preserving legibility and senestion. I wrote with more purpose, it was no longer sloppy writing what I want without any regard. Build: Paperlike is a regular screen protector that has been indented millions of times on a very small scale. This makes the protector have the same 'rough' texture as printer paper. It is also thicker than normal, so the protector has some give when you press down, like paper. Screen Quality: Initially I did notice the crispness of my screen decreased due to the matte screen protector but it was subtle enough that I quickly got over it. I could also use my iPad in the sun more easily. Company: I emailed the company because I messed up the installation, and they got back to me very quickly, and promptly shipped me a new product under their warranty. Overall, good experience!

The Fault, Dear Brutus, Lies Not In The Product But In Ourselves
I bought this product based only on its claim to make writing on it feel like writing on paper with the first Gen Apple Pencil. My conclusion: Whether or not it feels like writing on paper is a subjective opinion. I've written on some papers that didn't feel like writing on paper. Whatever the case, writing on this screen protector feels great. There is a difference using it vis-a-vis the ice-skating rink that is Apple's native screen as well as many other screen protectors. There is a tiny bit of tooth to the surface which grips the Pencil just enough--uh, kinda' like real paper does. Enhancing the surface as it does does also cuts down immensely, if not entirely, on screen glare. The Apple Pencil is an amazing bit of technology but, for me, was not as much fun for me to use--until I started using the Paperfeel screen protector. It is a whole new experience. There is a downside but I am willing to take all of the blame for it. I absolutely hate the application of screen protectors to my devices. This protector was no exception. As difficult as it might be to believe, my house is not as sterile as a NASA laboratory and I once again managed to fossilize errant dust particles, crumbs, cat hairs, and air bubbles betwixt the iPad screen and the back of the screen protector. Homagical cannot be faulted for my having been born with 10 thumbs and no manual dexterity, however. I really like the product. ADDENDUM (one week later): Despite all of the detritus I managed to capture underneath the screen protector when I installed it, I like it more than ever. This time, it's because of the unique "finger feel" you experience when tapping and tipping your merry way along on the iPad screen. It's difficult to describe but it feels so much better that the plain glass experience. Also, there is no loss of detail or quality with the protector installed. Save for the fact there is virtually no glare now, I would not know that it's even installed.

Inexpensive matte screen feels like drawing on paper
This item lives up to what it says. I have been trying to learn Procreate and create lettering and digital images with an Apple Pencil. The plastic tip on the pencil against the glass of the iPad is very slick and easy to create crooked lines, dots, etc...that one doesn’t want. This screen protector and it’s matte finish has made all the difference. It’s hard to believe the screen adds so much control when drawing. I gave it four stars because as simple as it sounds to install, it definitely isn’t quite that simple. I just have laid the screen down and pulled it up 10 times before I could get most of the air bubbles out. They aren’t all out, but at least I got them to a size the pencil doesn’t skip over. I haven’t tried the more expensive screens but I can’t believe they are that much better. It took a few minutes to align because the camera hole and home button are a little off center, but not enough to ding it a star. One other thing, when not using the pencil to scroll up and down, you will hear a slight sandpaper sound hat is a little annoying at first.

Wer also überlegt einfach mal ausprobieren :)
