Great length, build quality, and reliability
This ethernet adapter worked perfectly compared to another adapter that I had lying around. I tested it on both my MacBook and my iPhone (with a lightning adapter) and got acceptable speeds. I like the length of the cable, and I like the premium feel of it. Since it's just an ethernet adapter, it doesn't matter too much what it looks or feels like, but it's a nice touch that this has a premium soft touch feel. The ethernet clicks in nicely, and the indicator light works well. The adapter is definitely on the pricier end, but I expect this to last forever without need for a replacement.

External Monitor Use
With this adaptor I am now using a 24" TV to work with my pictures in PhotoShop and other editing software. Much more detail. I have a SurfacePro with a docing station, so I can use several external devices via adaptors with USB and the display ports as well.

Connected DVI to HDMI Adapters to 2, 1080p Acer Monitors > HDMI Cables > HDMI to this Mini DP adapter > to Mini DP Outputs on Dock and it works perfectly. This is an official Microsoft product. My Surface Book display is now extended to 2 Acer Monitors, allowing for 3 total displays with no issues. Plug and Play!
