Great Dash Cam with Clear Video, Easy Setup, and Helpful Wire Hiding Tool
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Miden S7 2.5K Dash Cam for my car, and I’m overall really happy with it! The front camera provides crisp video quality, and the 1600P+1080P dual setup is a nice touch. I also appreciate the wide angle of 176°+160°, it captures plenty of road footage. The 3.2" IPS screen is clear and responsive, and I’m looking forward to installing the rear camera soon to complete the setup.I haven’t had the chance to hide the wires yet, but it’s great that the package includes a tool to help with wire management. It’s always nice to have something to hide the wires and keep the car looking neat without all the extra dangling cables. I plan to get around to that as soon as I have more time. The only issue I’ve run into so far is with the mounting system. It uses a suction cup to attach to the windshield, which is convenient because it can be removed and reattached. However, I’ve noticed it falls off occasionally, especially in colder weather. I’m not sure if it's because I didn’t clean the glass thoroughly enough or if it’s just the nature of the suction cup, but it’s something to consider. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s a little annoying when it does.Overall, the camera is fantastic, and I feel more secure having it in my car. I’m hopeful that once I get the rear camera installed and the wires tucked away, it’ll be even better. Great value for the price!

One CRITICAL Flaw
It's a good camera. Very robust, lots of options. Straightforward if time consuming install. Good functionality...... HOWEVER while I was reviewing recorded video, the most recent file displayed a message FILE DAMAGED. No other video files had been saved after that (all other files were dated from a couple weeks before). While in the process of troubleshooting, I removed the SD card. Upon reinserting it, it entered at an angle and is now stuck. The SD icon on the display indicates that the SD card is not inserted, so now the camera can't save and record video and is effectively a brick. This is extremely disappointing, especially after all the effort that goes into installing the front and back cams and connecting it to the fuse box. Seriously, HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE for the SD card to go in crooked??? MAJOR ENGINEERING FAIL.As such, I cannot recommend this device. It's a shame, because otherwise it works great. The only thing I'd knock it for is that the rear cam attaches with a laughably weak adhesive, but that's nothing a couple of suction cups couldn't fix.But since the camera possesses such a CRITICAL POINT OF FAILURE, there's no point in purchasing it. I really cannot emphasize just how easy it was for the SD card to insert wrong. I almost didn't realize it had happened. If it's stuck, that's it. You just got yourself a $40 brick.EDIT: Since Amazon's return window on this item expired long before the failure of the SD card, I dealt directly with Miden themselves. They provided a full refund of the purchase, which is very appreciated.

Well worth the cost
Works great. Just be very careful when inserting the memory card because I messed up the first one and had to buy another one because I was a dummy

Update!
Update: DO NOT BUY THIS DASHCAM. Customer Service Does Not Exist. I needed replacement wires for my Dashcam because I traded in my old car and was unable to get the wires installed out of the vehicle. There was no number to call or anything. I tried Googling the company. I couldn't find any contact information. I attempted reaching out by sending a message through this Amazon listing and absolutely no response in over 2 months. If you need help or replacement parts, you are stuck. I have to buy another camera when I hadn't had this one a full year. The visuals on the front camera are good. The rear is dark at night when I'm looking in the camera. Not sure if it's picking up vehicle and license plates very well or not in the event you needed that information. I did look at the video on the camera once and re-formatted it. I had such a difficult time with the buttons and trying to find and select menu options. The buttons are so small and so we're the directions in the book. I had a hard time reading instructions and figuring out how to operate it. I just was pressing buttons hoping to get to the right place. I was so frustrated. My mistake was paying to having the camera installed in my car prior to trying to operate it. Now, there is no going back at this point. I tried to figure it out watching a YouTube video and I still had trouble. I wish the instructions were larger and better. I don't know. If the company sees this message maybe they can send me a large print version. Or, give me a number to call for assistance. Right now, I dread even taking out the SD card. Because, trying to get to the option on the camera to re-format it is such a hassel for me. The other options, I'm fine with leaving as is for now. I did by happenstance figure out how to turn off the audio and set up the correct date and time. However, I don't know how to do it all over again if I had to. I would be back to playing around with it and hoping I eventually find the option. I don't know if it's just a me thing. But, that's my experience. I did get better with figuring out the menu options and selecting the option I want from the menu. Now, that I know which buttons to push. It's a lot easier for me. However, after trying to make adjustments, the night camera view is really dark. I wish it had better video for night time. But, Other than that, it's a good camera.
