The scabbard is easy to put together and is very sturdy while still being somewhat lite weight. The clips holds true and goes under a belt and slides over the top for maximum hold. I have only used this 5 times and it performs better than other options. It is more money than the others but in this case I think you are getting quality plus the name. Regardless I do not feel bad about this purchase. If I was a day to day butcher I would want this in my collection to use.
