Worked great cutting dray wall when I was patching up a small section. Takes the same batteries as Dewalt which is handy for me. I have a lot of Dewalt tools, so I only needed the bare tool.

I’m writing this review to warn buyers about the problems I encountered with this tool. Since my return window has closed and cannot contact the manufacturer, I have to rig this thing to work again.From the start, I had issues with the on/off switch but just ignored it. Now I have to press it 50-100 times to get it to actually work. I should have returned it from the beginning. I know the motor is good but darn this is annoying. Also, the button to press to lock the anvil to replace the bit blew off along with the spring so I have to rig that as well.Just spend the extra money on the actual dewalt router and save yourself the grief. This product should be removed as it is horrible. Definitely would not recommend!

Ill say. It works and gets the job done.(1st day in use) hopefully it last longer. I read some of other reviews and yes at some point buttons feels low quality and might be easy to break!! But if y’all upgrade this to a better hard material. Might be a great replacement since milwua havent even updated their current drywall tools. Battery doesnt drain ofc. The only missing⭐️ for this review might be the material quality.(4/18/25):i have the tool and still working . Im happy with it.

It cuts but the sharpness if the included blades leave alot to be desired. For a small job it works, larger jobs you'll need to buy higher quality bits

I'm a weekend handyman and needed a tool to install a vent but didn't want to spend 100s of $ on a DeWalt. I got this tool and it worked perfectly, I created a template using 1/2 plywood and created the opening, all using this tool. I had no issues with my 20V DeWalt battery.I would recommend this product.

This thing worked perfectly the first time I used it for cutting drywall. But after that, each subsequent time I used it, stuff kept breaking off it. First it was the knob that adjusts the height--that knob has broken at least 5 separate times until now it's just a jagged nub! Parts of the yellow housing chip off and, most recently, the locking button has jammed, locking it in place permanently. So it's just junk now. And I'm not even half done hanging drywall in my small shed!Save your money. You get what you pay for--which I know is true, but I was hoping it'd at least last long enough to finish this project! This may seem like an attractive option compared to an actual DeWalt version, but you're just throwing your money away. Borrow a friend's or save up for a proper one. You'll regret getting this.

Used it for a few jobs now. And does what I needed to starts right up does its job!
