## Questions & Answers

**Q: do you know if the 8.7 inch is inside diameter or outside?**
A: The exterior diameter of the gasket is 24 cm/9½"; the interior diameter is 21.3 cm/8-3/8". The gasket is for use with Fissler pressure cookers having an opening diameter of 22 cm/8-2/3" (8.7").

**Q: Is this replacement gasket made by Fissler?**
A: We bought a Fissler gasket a year ago and it fits our Fissler pressure cooker. I think it is made by Fissler.

**Q: Hi, would this suit for the fissler silicone 38-667-00-201?**
A: I am not sure of your question. This is for FIS9203 (also vendor item #600 000 22 795) which is the newer 22cm silicone gaskets fitting all current pressure cookers (after 2009).
It goes inside the lid of your pressure cooker.
We are not sure what item 38 667 00 201 is, but that references an old, discontinued rubber part.

**Q: Is it 100% silicone?**
A: Yes, it is silicone

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy two cause the cycle is shorter than it looks

Excellent stuff. The German arbeiter takes pride in their product and it shows.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Proper gasket for this pressure cooker
*by on Reviewed in the United States December 28, 2024*

This is the right gasket for the Fissler 5 Qt. Pressure Cooker I have. The one I replaced had become thick through use, pointing out the necessity of replacing them when needed. It had become difficult to close the lid. I love this pressure cooker and plan to have it for decades to come so replacing the gasket is good maintenance strategy so the pot works properly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality, long-lasting, virtually no odor
*by on Reviewed in the United States May 24, 2025*

Unlike other brands, the Fissler gaskets have almost no odor, even at first use. They hold up well and tend to last longer than the manufacturer recommends; however, I have found that replacing them on or close to the manufacturer's schedule tends to make the pressure cooker work a little more efficiently.
