Our Place Splendor Blender, 1000W High-Power Blender with 25 oz Travel Cup

I’ve only had this thing for about two weeks and I have to say it’s the best little blender I’ve ever had. I’ve gone through two or three ninjas and several magic bullets and they always bite the dust. They get too hot while you’re using them and then they break this one. Seems very strong in fact extremely strong! It’s so cute too. I love the way it looks.!! I make smoothies every morning and I just hit the button that is for 45 seconds and it starts out slow it speeds up and then it declines to a slower before it turns itself off and my smoothie is completely smooth. Very happy so far I hope nothing happens to it soon.😂 I will say the very first couple of times I used it. I had a hard time turning it to click in place, but I think that’s because it was brand new after that I can easily turn it and click it in place.

This is the worst blender I’ve ever used. I’ve had ninjas. I even have a Vitamix and thought because I love Our Place’s pans so much this would be well-made. You have to have super strength in order to make it “click” into place in order to actually blend. Fine, I can do it, but I highly recommend it not being used by somebody who’s older or who doesn’t have that kind of strength. And then recently it just exploded when I tried to take it off that weird lock it’s on when it blends. Upside down! You can’t imagine the cleanup…my entire freaking counter was covered in smoothie and I think I almost cried. I had the ninja for years and never had a problem. Don’t know why I even tried to “upgrade”! this thing is the worst purchase. Spent way too much money on it and it’s past the refund time and I’m pissed. Do not buy.

This is a good, powerful, small blender. I wish it was a bit bigger. I love the color. It matches my kitchen and another Our Place product that I have.,

This blender works but is very loud. Also, be sure to know how it releases from the base before use. I did not and ended up screwing the top off and had my smoothie all over the floor.

Review of the Splendor Blender from Our Place: I really love this cool little blender! The Splendor Blender is powerful, easy to use and clean. It looks great and does not take up space in my small kitchen. I can leave it out on my counter which makes it really convenient. I use it daily in the morning to whip up my protein smoothies. It is great to not have to haul out my Vitamix from the pantry. I am planning to use it to make my jerk chicken marinade. Normally I would be using my food processor to make this. So now this eliminates another appliance I would be taking out to use. So far I am truly enjoying this appliance and highly recommend it.

As someone who cooks a lot and has tested many brands, I really wanted to love this blender, especially because I’m a fan of Our Place’s product design. But this one is a major letdown. It’s incredibly loud—not just the usual appliance noise, but loud enough to be heard throughout the entire house. And unfortunately, that’s not even the worst part. The blending cup sinks too far into the base, and on my very first use, after making a smoothie, I tried to remove it—and the entire thing spilled all over the counter. I still don’t understand how something meant for daily use could be designed so poorly. I strongly urge the brand to revisit and rethink the overall construction of this blender. As it stands, it’s just not functional.

Simple and effective. Nothing fancy. No interchangeable parts. It is what it is and that's what we wanted. We already have a food processor so we just wanted a reliable blender. Looks good on the counter. Owned for 3 months and all good so far.

I bought this blender to make baby food and its wonderful. Beautiful design, blends up quickly without having to keep pushing the food back down the sides and does it rather quietly- my old blender scared my child. Also it's small and sleek so it's very easy and quick to clean. Amazing. Thank you.

I really REALLY wanted to love this blender but while I love the design and power, those are the only two positive things. Claiming that the cup can hold 750ml is very misleading as this does NOT mean you can have 750ml within the “max line”, but is the cup in its entirety. So no, it is most definitely not 750ml, but approximately *475ml* to the “max” line. Also, if you get even a little bit of your smoothie ingredient in the threading area where the blade is screwed in, you will have leaking and a mess to clean up. It’s also incredibly loud. Like I said, I really wanted to love this blender as I have a smoothie every single day. Very sad about this.

I really wanted to like the Our Place Splendor Blender since we already enjoy other products from the brand, but this one didn’t quite work for me. It definitely has power — the 1000W motor blends fast and handles fruit and ice without much effort. But the biggest issue is how loud it is. Even on the lower setting, it’s one of the noisiest blenders I’ve used, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to make a quick drink early in the morning. The other problem is the design of the blending cup or container. Whenever I finished blending and went to remove it, it always felt like I had to be extra careful to avoid spilling. The connection point doesn’t feel secure enough during the twist-off, so unless you’re slow and very precise, the risk of a mess is pretty high. It happened more than once. After trying it a few times, I found myself reaching back for my Vitamix — quieter, sturdier, and easier to use without worrying about leaks.
