this inverter feels pretty solid and looks posh. it's compact, not bulky, and great for travel, with enough ports for various gadgets. the price is reasonable, and its design is quite slick. the USB ports are a nice touch, with decent wattage. it does get a bit warm while running, and the cigarette lighter plug isn’t the best quality. overall, it's useful for occasional laptop or USB needs in the car.

This is a nice simple inverter.No need to clamp onto the battery, you get a car connector for the accessory socket which is practical if you are sitting in the front of your car and want to use a laptop, tablet or similar that run from 3 pin.You can use all the outlets at once but the whole thing wont give more than 200 watts.This does actually feel quite warm when its plugged in and switched on even with nothing running through it.The cig connector is a fairly cheap type, no light or fuse on it.The usb outlets are handy as they are each 24watts.2 are c outlets and 2 are USB A size.If you regularly use a laptop in your car then its likely you'll have a dedicated car accessory adapter anyway but this is useful for every now and then .My son will use it for his journeys for work for when he wants to access his laptop or usb accessories and its neat and small enough to go in the glove box when not being used.Not for 24Volt systems

The MyAnts 200W Car Power Inverter has been a fantastic addition to my car, making it incredibly easy to keep my laptop charged on the go. With its dual 220V AC outlets and four fast-charging USB ports (USB-A and USB-C), this nifty gadget has become a travel essential. Whether I'm on a camping trip or need some extra juice, it's a reliable companion.

This product is solid. It is great for keeping in the car to use with appliances, electrical insect repelling machines, lamps etc. If you car camp it can power an electric pump for mattresses etc. It will certainly easily manage being stepped on, and I can even see it handling being driven over (Do not try this at home folks!)

⚠The sockets on this very compact inverter are designed so that multiple different plug types can be used, including European and US two pin plugs. This is not actually legal as it contravenes the UK standard BS 1363 sockets must have shutters on the Live and Neutral contacts to prevent the insertion of a foreign object into the socket. There is an attempt at shutters but the linkage between them means that it is easy to stick a screwdriver or other object into any of the live or neutral connections.⚠There is a specific requirement in the British standard to ensure that Europlugs and other two-pin plugs may not be used with BS 1363 sockets "It shall not be possible to operate a shutter by inserting a 2-pin plug into a 3-pin socket-outlet." This does allow it.

Generally very happy with this device. Its compact size fits nicely in my car's centre console, it charges my phone and laptop at an acceptable rate and I can run devices which aren't too power-hungry, like my portable CD player, without any problems.My only issue is that the two 3-pin sockets are positioned so close together that you can only have one device plugged in at a time. If only they'd made the sockets 1 cm further apart, this would have been perfect!

This is a really useful bit of kit. As well as the two 3 pin sockets there are USB outputs, too. It's nice and compact, which makes it perfect for keeping in the boot without taking up too much space. You never know when you, or somebody else, might need it. Happy to recommend 😁👍👍👍👍👍

If you want to do something a little beyond just charging a phone or tablet, then something like this will prove useful.This connect to cigarette lighter socket which will suit most people.You get 2 UK 3-pin plug sockets, though the shaping suggests they should take euro and US plugs too.There's 4 USB ports, 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A, each allowing 24W. Note however this is a 200W inverter, so be mindful and don't plug in say a hair dryer (I imagine that'll be a very bad idea).You can however easily charge a laptop (which I did) using the 3 pin plug. Though newer laptops will probably only need the USB-C. Other uses could for example to run an air pump if you say have inflatable kayaks.At time of review with discounts, it's about £40, which isn't the cheapest out there, but seems decent enough quality.
