Panasonic MK-GB1 3-Litre 200-Watt Stand Mixer (White)

Love this blender. Plenty of power for what I use it for for (mostly baking, making butter every couple of weeks.) Will be using it for bread over the next couple of days, will try to remember to come back and update. Really like that you can detach the mixing unit to use as a hand blender. Gets hot after a while, but really does take a while, plus is fine after a minute or two to cool down. Also @500 inr less than in the local appliance shop. Two thumbs up.

Amazing product at an affordable price... pros --- 1. Capacity of 3 liters - is wonderful , large amounts of icecream and cake mix can be prepared at one go... 2. 5 speed settings - useful for various different purposes as in ice cream whipping , dough kneading, cake batter prep, taking out butter from cream , etc... 3. Motor is also powerful..when used intelligently 4. Except for the motor , all the parts are easily washable, including the stand. 5. Price if compared to other contemporary products is less(for beginners its value for money , its not exactly for professionals ) cons- 1 . the tub has nothing to grip so taking things out of it( all usually greasy or liquid ) becomes bit difficult as the tub tends to slip through your hand 2. tub doesn't rotate by itself, rather manually it has to be done... 3. motor makes lots of noise especially with speed settings 3 and above. 4. don't use it continuously for 30 min and above else smell would start coming from motor... things to remember- 1. after every 10-15 min give motor some rest , few seconds is enough.. cake batter and ice cream whipping (my personal favorite) ....u would enjoy ....So also those who have been scared of making nice soft fluffy ice creams would love this kit...and ur cakes would be softer than ever....Enjoy !!!!!!!

Panasonic company is selling mixer which is 'make in china' and its motor is of very bad quality. this model stops working within one year of purchase and after lot of phone calls to many customer care support, finally got the address of server center (Pratibha Electronics, Pune). The shop owner was resistant to take the product for repair and was saying that many such mixer's repair request is pending since months and it is not repaired yet. I am still hoping that Panasonic brand have some value and my mixer can get repair. I would strongly recommend not to buy this product as its quality is very poor.

Even after reading so many critical reviews of this product I ordered it because I needed such an appliance since long and its price on offer was so that I could risk a try. I primarily use this machine for kneading dough for rotis. Here are my observations after using it for a week- 1) Its not a great machine to begin with but it comes at a price many folds less than the best i.e. kitchen aid or kenwood 2) The 3 litre tub may be fully used for liquids or syrups to blend or whip, but not for dough to be kneaded. 3) It kneads well if the dough is less than 500gms 4) Adding a few drops of oil in the dough once a lump is formed also helps. You won't need to scrape anything anymore. 5) The tub doesn't rotate by itself, but while you are kneading dough, its a good thing because you have to hold the blender's handle with one hand and rotate the tub with the other hand. You will need to rotate it in both directions at times. 6) kneading dough only takes 10-15 minutes, bu the motor is too noisy and it gets hot and gives out a plasticy smell. 7) Thankfully while kneading dough you need to stop the motor in between twice or thrice anyways, which will not let the machine to overheat. 8) I don't know if additional attachments can be purchased for this machine. It doesn't come with a balloon whisk. 9) It's very easy to clean

Excellent buy I've been waiting for this kind of mixer for a long time Have tried numerous cakes but yet to try bread dough AndThe positioning of the whisks and hooks relative to the bowl is off centre which is actually for the mix to get mixed properly otherwise only thre mix in the centre will be blended Love this product have done a thorough study of other various products before I decided on this one Very good and easy to clean too..

Excellent product by Panasonic, It gave us results more than our expectations, My wife is daily using it for Dough Mixing, and I use it occasionally for making Sponge Cake with Eggs and even without eggs, It also gave me best results for making icing cream. really it is an amazing piece which is tempting my family go for more cake and pantries but have to be cautious regarding mouthwatering dishes emanating from it. Sure, if handled properly many cakes can be done provided you should have an interest and time to make! AND of course, amazon was as usual, do an excellent job, by delivering the goods before the due date. The product is a thing which any middle income group can go for that and it is very sturdlly built
