Carhartt Men's Duck Detroit Rugged Flex® Relaxed Fit Jacket

Ordered three times and it wasn't the rugged flex model, it was the classic flanned lined Detroit jacket. All three times it came from the US. Then I ordered again once from Germany and it was the actual rugged flex model. However, quality control is deficient. The collar has different lengths/heights on each side. I'll have to get that fixed as ordering again would take another month and change.

So I tried this jacket in medium and large. I wear large in all my normal every day clothing. But I do wear medium in all my Carhartt loose fit shirts and jackets. Large fit me perfect and for that reason i say this jacket is true to size. The sleeve lengths are long and perfect for my work. I constantly move my arms while sitting at work, the length sits just right but the sleeves don’t ride up like most of my jackets. The sleeve is wide enough and long enough to protect my watch. At first I found it annoying because I check the time quite a bit. But then I realized my watch was not being scratched as much. The canvas is softer than I expected, that just meant there was no break in needed. It feels wearable and comfortable right out the package. I know Carhartt gets a lot of flak when they update their jackets but this one is pretty good. I honestly would change one thing and that is to have the option for a blanket lining. It is kind of thin and i would like a warmer version of this exact jacket

Who doesn’t love their Carhartt Jacket?! Nice and warm and durable for manual labor. The size fits true, and the jacket for as thick as it is it remains lightweight

Same durable Duck fabric, but with flex so it’s more comfortable. Also a thinner lining, which I think is a great thing since you can wear year around. Yes, arms are a bit long, but it’s to provide coverage when reaching out or overhead. Actually good for doing work. When not working, simply folding the cuffs a bit gives a perfect length! Would recommend!
