Working great

I found this item to be no good for Axolotl’s not only does it not get cold enough but it is right on the border of what is acceptable to keep them at. I also found that it was not holding the temperature properly. If that’s what your buying this for look at a different one that goes lower then 68 and will properly hold the temp. They are not comfortable in warmer water. I got a Paizoo and it’s working perfectly. I could’ve gotten a bad one that doesn’t hold temp well

Fan is working yet, but I don't like the following points so far: a) light worked for a day or two only, just now is not working anymore. b) The buttons on fan are stiff and require significant force to press. This can cause instability in the unit when it's already installed on the aquarium. c) The set up interface is not much friendly. It is not clear how to set up the target temperature. Despite the aforementioned, the fan manages to reduce the temperatura of the aquarium in 2 or 3 degrees Celsius working in the standard mode of operation.

Personally, not for my use. It’s a great product and I loved it. My only issue is it’s not what you should have when keeping axolotls. If you are here for an axolotl setup, save the time and buy a chiller. You will be so much happier. This fam is best used for “cooler” water fish, but not cold water creatures. I had zero other issues with the product, just not what would keep my salamanders healthy here in Central Texas. Toothless in the picture recommends you get a chiller if you live in a warm state. 😉

It's a good little fan and collects an accurate water temperature. It fits well on the side of the tank, sturdy clamp and the fans angle down so it hits the surface of the water which is a plus. I'm giving it 3 stars because it has 2 fans but only one works.
