A great read on how-to break into fashion. Some of the tips are basic and sort of a given, but then again not all students come into this with background knowledge so it's helpful on how to get started. A good little read and great tips, would have liked to see more visuals in the text.

I have NEVER seen a book that was riddled with errors as this book. I actually follow Crosby online and I am ashamed that this book has her name on it. Trust me, you will not be paying attention to the content as much as you will be looking for the next error.This book is filled with sentences that never stop (run ons), words placed wherever a heart desires, incomplete thoughts, unexisting punctuations, and a bunch of other MESS... If I had bought the actual book, it would be a prop on the floor to even out a table leg.

Ready to Launch is an AMAZING read! If you have an interest in Fashion PR. This IS the book to read! It gives so much advice on everything! This book gives so much insight into the world of fashion PR. From education, internships, landing that must have entry level position, going freelance or even starting your own PR agency. This book has it all! I couldn't put it down! It was as if Crosby was right there talking about the ins and outs of this fast-paced, intense and creative industry. There is no book like it! Ready to Launch is indeed an insightful, inspiring, and entertaining look into the world of fashion PR. However, I believe it would also be helpful for anyone working in the fashion industry, as understanding PR can provide professionals with a deeper understanding of the big picture. As a business consultant specializing in luxury & fashion, and as reader of Noricks's blog, PR Couture, I found this book to be a great addition and extension to my current resources. It's a must-read for today's fashion, PR, and marketing students and professionals.

This book was AMAZING!!! A great read for anybody looking into going into fashion or beauty PR. Crosby has an amazing balance of advice and pointers. Before reading RTL, I was confused about the world of fashion PR and its implications, but RTL provided lots of insight that really outlined the specifications of fashion PR and the huge umbrella that it plays over the many branches and paths you can take in fashion. I found the book very inspirational and resourceful!

I read the review of this book in Fashionably Marketing so I got it. This Book has truly inspired me. I've worked in PR for over 6 years managing the communications for 11 different countries, but my true passion is Fashion PR. So after finishing this amazing Book/Guide/FashionPRBible I've decided to do what I love in the industry I love. I had a blog for quite a while but now I am updating my blog, engaging with my inspirational twitter Followers, applying to jobs in fashion and getting ready to move to NYC and chase my dreams.If you want to work in fashion, this is a must! This book helped to stare me in the right direction. Before reading this book all I knew was that I want to be in the Fashion PR business. Not knowing much about Fashion PR and where to begin, Ready to Launch shone a light on it all; from what to read to what to do and what not to do. This book is great!

This book has great valuable advice, I love the style of writing but don't feel it is detailed enough. Each subheading has information no longer than a paragraph and the book is very thin. I love it I just wish there were more to it! It's more like a pamphlet worth £4.99 I was surprised how thin the book was having paid £11. The whole book could be read in 20 minutes. Expect large font, short text and no images.

Great starter book, but for $18 I expected it to be a bit more in-depth. I would maybe be satisfied if I had only paid half of that.
