Philips Daily Collection HD2583/90 Toaster, Black

Never thought breads, pavs and buns cud taste so yummy after toasting.. this toaster is a gem in the kitchen.. trust me great quality.. breads are toasting evenly from all sides and the grill rack and its function is icing on d cake in a toaster.. its amazing.. yes one short side it doesn't pop up the bread (grill rack version) but since u can actually toast 4 at once in grill rack and hence u dont need the pop up feature i wud say .. this is better than those pop up Toaster .. infact i had Philips pop up version worked for years (the other one in this product list) and this grilling version is infact better..

Good toaster from philips. Its a user friendly product Two things lagging from the toaster is: 1. There’s no auto pop-up feature available in the toaster. 2. There’s no covering lid for the toaster. Other than this toaster works good with 8 Browning settings for each different needs. There’s a separate bun rack for heating buns, pastries and croissants. There’s even option of Reheat and defrost. Below there’s a removable tray for cleaning the bread crumbs. Overall a good purchase. Thank you Amazon and cloudtail for shipping this product safely and for the best price.

Great product

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered this Philips toaster from Amazon, expecting the quality and reliability associated with the Philips brand. The moment I opened the package, the condition of the packaging itself raised a red flag. It looked like the product had simply been casually repacked rather than properly inspected and sealed. Unfortunately, my concern turned out to be justified. After unpacking it and plugging it in for the first time, the toaster simply did not work. This raises a serious question: Are returned or defective products being sent out to other customers without proper inspection and quality checks? As a customer, I shouldn't have to become the quality-control department for a product that is being sold as new. What concerns me even more is the impact this has on both Amazon's trust and Philips' reputation. A customer may blame the brand when the real problem could be the seller's handling and quality-control process. Amazon needs to take strict action against sellers who dispatch products without properly checking them. A customer ordering a new product should receive a genuinely new, properly inspected and fully functional product — not something that feels like it has already been through someone else's return process. My advice to other buyers: please check the packaging carefully before accepting/using the product and don't ignore warning signs. In my case, the packaging itself was the first indication that something wasn't right. Very disappointing. Amazon and Philips — please don't let poor seller practices damage the trust customers have built in your platforms and brands.

Ok to buy

After reading all the reviews here I knew this doesn’t pop up the toasts yet I went ahead with the order thinking it will be used for sandwiches. Very disappointed as you can only make plain cheese sandwich in this and not your regular vegetable loaded sandwiches because the racks given are so small they can barely accommodate two plain breads in it at a time. So when I tried putting my vegetable sandwich in it to toast it up I couldn’t do so and in order to push it inside all the veggies came out. Not a pleasant experience! So you must know you can’t put a regular sandwich inside it….only plain cheese ones. Better options are available for pop up though

Good quality product

If you are looking for pop up toaster it's not that type means toast once pop up but not came out.. Otherwise no issues.. I gave 4stars as I wanted a pop up n it's not working the way I wanted..
