It doesn't last long.
I installed this alternator in January. It was a perfect fit. I installed a new battery at the same time. Now it is June and the voltage regulation on my alternator seems to be failing. The voltage level on my instrument panel gauge is all over the place. There is only the standard 30 day Amazon warranty so I am stuck with it. I'll give it two stars instead of one because it was not dead on arrival like the last one that I got from a different Amazon vendor. I guess I will have to pay up and buy one locally. At least I will get a lifetime warranty from them.

I got tired of paying ridiculous prices for remanufactured electrical parts at the auto parts stores that don't last. This one functions like the original without the noise and fear of failure like I got from the store bought one.
