So worth the money
I have been using the nuwave for many years now. Only way I cook. Food is cooked from the inside out. Bacon is highly recommended to cook as it is so crispy and not greasy. So worth the money for a healthier way to cook. Cooks up to 400 degrees. I have even cooked Turkey in it. They come with piece that extends the height. Easy to clean it can go in dishwaster only the top with the heating element can't. Very easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Great oven stellar customer service! Thank you Joy T!
First of all, I love this oven. Oh my God it does not heat my kitchen up. It can cook a huge chicken or two big ducks and I haven’t experimented a lot, but I will tell you what it is phenomenal. And even more than that, I had an issue a little over a year after I bought it. I called NuWave . Joy T absolutely took care of me so quickly they sent out a brand new head to the oven within five days. Shocking. And communication was instant and kind and generous and I love this company and the customer service was phenomenal. Joy if you’re reading this go buy a lottery ticket. I’m praying for you thank you sweetheart.! I love my oven.💋❤️❤️💕

Better than our beloved old air fryer
Better than an air fryer. This product cooks everything to perfection!

Melting plastic dome and toxic fumes.
Out of two ovens ordered, an original and its replacement, both were sent back due to the plastic dome melting while cooking, this resulted in meals permeated with toxic plastic fumes-quite savory! Not just an excusable flaw, this item is hazardous to your health.

Best turkey ever….
Turkey was moist inside and crispy outside. You need to get an extension to cook the turkey, but it is worth every penny. The grill works perfectly. I put some frozen hamburgers in it, which came out like from a big grill outside. The extension package includes the air frying basket. Again, great results. I love the sear function. Chicken breast came out perfect both ways, fresh or frozen. The ability to adjust the temperature for the top and the bottom is convenient. And the best part is that everything goes into the dishwasher except the powerhead.

Cooks OK but awkward to handle and huge learning curve
First, this did a nice job on my chicken that I roasted (at 90/10 top/bottom). You need to find a safe place for the recipe book and it's 100 included recipes. There is quite a learning curve with this product - it's not a simple and easy-to-use device. Also, I had zero luck with the temperature probe and that disappointed me as another grill that I have as well as my wall oven both have them and they work perfectly to save me from burning food. This one, in three different positions, told me my raw chicken was cooked in just a matter of minutes. I think it must have been reading the air temps. I tried burying the entirety of the probe in my chicken and still only got about 4 minutes of cooking before it shut off saying I had reached 160 degrees. The hole for the probe, though, made it easy to insert my own thermometer to check temps later on. The hole for the temp probe saved my chicken - because it is REALLY awkward to take this top off during cooking. The weight balance is weird, and the included rest rack for the top ONLY works for the top with the heating element in it. Either piece alone will not balance properly on this weird little rack. The top gets SUPER hot, and I burned myself with steam taking it off several minutes after my chicken was done cooking. There is no way I could find to avoid that - except maybe to next time remove the heating element for a bit, then the dome. But as mentioned, that makes it such that there is nowhere to really place the top to keep it safe and stable (on it's top it's wobbly but you don't really want to set the heating element down on your counter tops, either.) I had to really force the buttons several times when trying to set up the probe. They weren't easy to press for some reason leaving me frustrating trying to reset this program. Most frustrating of all, though, is just dealing with the lid in general. I would preheat, and then in the process of trying to take off the lid to add the food, it would turn completely off and I'd have to reprogram it all over again - and with the buttons being stubborn it was frustrating. I have wanted one of these for AGES so I was super excited to get it and try it (I also used it to reheat some pizza, but I burned it - that was my own fault, though, I believe.) I really liked the browned top of my chicken and it was cooked perfectly but it took way more effort and energy than I was expected to expend for a chicken. I will continue to use it and hopefully find better ways to work with it. If it gets much easier, I'll be back to update. I will keep watching YouTube videos and reading up on ways others are using this device. Unlike another reviewer, I didn't find this to be small at ALL, and in fact it is much larger than expected. There were tons of room around my midsized chicken. It also easily fits a frozen Totinos pizza (which we didn't end up cooking on it, but I tested the size) and I don't think the size will be much of a problem cooking for our fairly large problem. It definitely cooks for more than two! At least the way we cook. EDITED A YEAR LATER [November 28, 2025]. I came back to add a star to my initial review as I believe much of my initial displeasure with this thing was just related to learning how to really use it. I still don't use it a ton, but I do use it EVERY time I make a whole chicken, and it's amazing for that. I don't use the probe at all though, but if I cook something that's not poultry, that I can confidently stick it right in the middle of (like a pork loin or beef roast perhaps) then I might try the probe again. For now, that function still just doesn't work for me. The learning curve, for me, was extensive with this and if I were to lose the card with the pre-programmed recipes and/or instruction book I think it would be worthless to me. A year in, and I still have to consult the directions every time, for every new item that I cook in it. I've learned how to use the rack to hold the lid, finally, but not until after this whole thing ended up on the floor often enough to dent it pretty significantly (though it still works fine). We prefer our chickens in this to store bought rotisserie ones now - that included programmed recipe is perfect.

Couldn't leave well enough alone
This was a good unit in the past although it was replaced from corroded plugs. The new version top/bottom heat balance is defaulted at 30 top and 70 bottom. But the bottom element will burn food even at 50/50 (the previous version's default setting). Now I have to adjust it (5 degree increments) to get it to 70/30. This was a very stupid change. The next stupid change is that it goes from preheat directly to cooking. The previous version would beep several times after preheat was done and never go right into cooking. You would have time to load your food then press start. Now, it will start counting down the cook time as well. So, you have to stand over it and wait for it to finish preheating then pause it. Then load your food and hit pause again so that it will resume. Unfortunately no other device out there is as big and offers see-through.
