Remnant Paperback – August 5, 2024

I picked up this fantasy book from a new author and was pleasantly surprised. It was well written, well edited, had well developed characters, and a solid story plot. I found myself intrigued to turn the next page. If you like TV shows like "Vikings", "Game of Thrones", and "The Witcher" you're going to love this! Without spoiling anything, the theme of having to face our dark past when it comes back to haunt us is interesting. Sometimes the only way we move forward is to face and deal with it head-on. I hope to see more from this author in the future. I am curious at what he creates in his next work. This is an easy 5 stars!

A great fantasy novel from a first time author, great pacing, story really keeps you engaged. If you love anything like Game of Thrones, The Witcher type stories, this will be a perfect read for you. Haven't finished yet but loving it on Chapter 8.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book by new author. It’s an easy and entertaining read. It’s more than just a fantasy. It speaks to friendship, romance, acceptance, justice and legacy. Let’s hope we get more from him.

Basedow does a great job with his debut book Remnant. I found myself drawn into the story almost immediately and had trouble putting it down. A lot of fun. Looking forward to the author’s next work.

Remnant is expertly crafted and moves at a perfect pace, making it a true page-turner. The engaging characters and captivating storyline kept me hooked and eagerly turning pages to discover what would happen next. I just finished it and am already wishing for a sequel!

This book has everything you would want in a fantasy book. Sword-fighting, magic, suspense and more. This was a really fun read and had no trouble tearing through the chapters. If you’re in the mood for a fantasy book, it is totally worth your time
