I was debating getting one of the more expensive off road models, because I figured going overkill would get me some kind of a decent quality machine. I seldom go offroad, and saw some offroad enthusiasts on YouTube bragging about this "little guy", compared to other models. I made sure I got the DIGITAL model because it has AUTO SHUT OFF, which is very convenient. It was delivered today, and I just took care of the tires on 2 vehicles. This thing is FAST! The quality of the build is actually impressive. I am happy to say that I'm done with gas station air pumps! Fast, powerful and high quality. Take care of it, it might be the last one you ever buy!

I needed a small compact high output (100 +) psi pump and so far so good. I love the digital preset psi set and wait feature, I used/tested this a few times and my unit has either been spot on or within 1 or 2 psi which is fine with me. I purchased this to top off my high psi RV tires as needed, it took me from 50 psi to 70 psi with ease and in no time at all, I was definitely impressed with it's performance! The one thing I added was a Jayco quick connect chuck to simplify the screw on/off chuck but that was just my preference, definitely not needed, just make's life easier for me. I do own a larger Viair unit for heaver use but this smaller unit might just be capable enough for most of my needs. Hits 70 psi with ease. I'm a big fan of Viair products so I'm hoping it'll hold up over time. If you're looking for a compact 120 psi digital compressor with a digital preset psi, I wouldn't hesitate, this is definitely a solid lil unit. Not saying it'll fill 33's all day long but for most suv's, pickups and light RV's, this will do the job. I'm using it fill my 17" BF KO2's that hold 70 psi when I off road and to adjust here and there in the cold weather.

Best portable air pump that I’ve ever had the opportunity to use. Design and build quality are Top Notch. I wasted over an hour last week trying but failing to top off my E-Pro camper tires on a trip, then drove 200 miles home worriedly watching the camper tire temperatures. I just bought this pump here on Amazon. Quick delivery. Then I modded the unit’s 14ga power cable by butt-splicing a 10ga short ”pigtail” cable within SAE 2-pin adapter and 7-pin hitch power plug (also butt-spliced the just cut-off battery clamp cable to another SAE 2-pin adapter, for backup use on a car that does not have a 7-pin trailer connector). The resulting cable and hose length from 7-pin plug to the business end of the house (the tire) is about 30 feet. Definitely long enough. Today, I plugged in the 7-pin power cable to the truck rear bumper, turned on the engine, flipped the pump’s red toggle switch to ON, connected the pump’s beefy hose to one of the camper tires, quickly set the pump’s auto-off to 66 psi, pressed the small red Pump start button, and the first camper tire filled from 61 psi to 66 psi in 45 seconds (at which point the digital meter read 66.0). Moved the hose to the other camper tire and did the same exact thing. No more wondering if I will be pulling my trailer with low-pressure tires. What a great value!

This VIAIR portable air compressor is the real deal. It works very well and definitely faster than those compressors you can get at big box stores and auto parts stores. It looks to be very well made, at least as well as the other VIAIR compressors i have used. Yes, they cost a bit more, but I'd rather buy once for a tool like this. You may want to take notice that there is one little inconvenience with this compressor. It only comes with alligator clips so you must connect directly to your battery to operate. I suspect this is because the motor may draw a pretty high amperage that might blow fuses on most power orts in most cars and trucks. Overall, I highly recommend this compressor and would buy it again. I doubt that i will need to buy again for a long time though.

Used this in both Lil Sahara and to help someone air up their tires and it did it really quickly and efficiently would recommend this product to anyone and if mine ever breaks, I will definitely buy another one.

I took this pump to re-inflate my 4WD tires on a trip where we were crossing a lot of sand. It worked OK for the first tire, inflating from around 8psi to 35psi. The pump did get warm and it’s not fast, but I expected that. When I moved to the next tire, as soon as I asked it to start pumping by pressing the middle button, the power went off. Initially I thought it may be a temperature shutoff but it was not that hot. I eventually realized it was the power supply fuse. I replaced the fuse and was able to partially inflate the tire, then the fuse went again. I tried 2 more times blowing 2 more fuses until I was out of fuses. At that point I ended up having to use a friend’s compressor. If I was alone I would have been stranded. After returning home I tried the pump again with exactly the same results, even on small bike tires. It seems to blow a fuse regularly when trying to start pumping. I have contacted the manufacturer in CA in case it’s just this pump. If they are responsive I will update this review.

Works for a tacoma with 33" tires. This unit takes < 5 minutes per tire. So it's a twenty minute job to air up, one tire at a time. The hose is long enough that you can set the unit on the floor board and run it through the windows to fill all four tires in the rain. As others noted it gets hot. The inconvenience with this is you can't place it back in the carry case with the hoses and cord all stuffed tidy after use. I have to place it on the floor board behind my seat or in the truck bed after use because it's just too hot. But it works and was cheap. So I'm using it for now

I tried a few from aross the pond with no luck. I even tried to use a fancy name brand that is yellow...you know the brand. It was weak in comparison. It also required a battery even though it came with a cigar lighter cord. This thing tops off my tires in less than 5 minutes for all 4. I did get a speed chuck for it (Chuck Mates). The gauge is spot on. I purchased one that arrived used, but I gave it a try and the gauge was off by 2PSI. The replacement was factory sealed and it works perfectly. No more lugging around my pancake compressor just to top off the tires. You can buy garbage brands here all day. I needed a compressor not something that resembled a cell phone that I wished would work. Does anyone who buys a battery operated tire compressor expect it to last longer than a week? Do you expect it to store it in your car that reaches extreme temps and know it will always be fully charged when you least expect it? You will stop buying junk products when you try one of these. I think it was worth the extra $16 to get a accurate digital gauge and auto shutoff. This litterally runs less than 15 seconds per tire to top off.

So, I finally got around to testing this thing out. I started at 18 and went all the way up to 41 with it. Honestly, it took about 3.5 to 4 minutes from start to finish. It did get a little warm during use, which was noticeable. Despite that minor warmth, it performed pretty well overall. I was actually quite pleased with how it handled the whole process. Definitely met my expectations for what it was supposed to do. Glad I decided to give it a shot.

Infló llanta 33x12.5 R15 de 16 psi a 30psi en un tiempo de 2.30min. Primera buena impresión. Me lleva un plus por qué no sabía que contaba con lámpara integrada.

Buen producto, bien terminando y práctico, buen tamaño. Aun no lo he usado pero espero que dure mucho.

Muy práctico y sobre todo infla las llantas muy rápido, pero a un y siendo rápido el inflado se calienta así que me tengo que esperar para poder regresarlo a la funda.
