I got this yesterday (26th oct 24) and tried setting it up with just the quick reference guide. The lancet device initially would not work, the spring seemed stuck and after a few tries I got it to work. I had to resort to the user guide to set time and date. The UI could have been programmed easily to show what function was being set.. The battery which is supposed to be included was not in the package anywhere, I dont know if they deliberately left it out to cut costs or not. I had to buy another battery to make it work. Small but important details Anyway that's why only 4 stars.

Accurate and completely believable

Incorrect reading compared to Accu check always +40 extra.
Mismatch between AccuCheck, E.g Accu check shows 71 where as it shows 104. Similarly after food 162 by this machine and 102 by Accu check. There is an Increased variation of the Values. I am not trusting this machine as Accu check is used at hospitals.
