This product's texture was fine, it blends into milk and other products well for smoothies. A scoop is included in the jar and you get a good amount for what you pay for. The issue for me was the taste. It starts out with a nice chocolate taste, then I tasted a slightly bitter aspartame taste and then salt, which is not what I'm going for with protein and supplement powders. It definitely gave me the proper amount of energy though.
