Bought this book for my little cousin, who is in school and I wanted to read this book about what is exactly Vedic mathematics. * I know many students who prepare for the Competetive exams read these books to improve their calculation time all over the world, many formulas came from this book *if you want to know about how intelligent our ancestors were who derived these formulas even hundreds of years ago. *All the major topics are included in this book starting from basic calculations like addition, multiplication, then square root, cube root to complex equations and calculus. A must-read for those who are really interested in mathematics * A must-buy for any school going student because he will find another perspective for solving problems, he will understand that there can be multiple ways to solve 1 mathematics problem. *The book has complete ways and steps to solve a question and along with it, its Vedic sutras are given. * Can't say these sutras are taken from Vedas but definitely, these sutras are given by our ancient Vedic mathematicians who used to use these sutras for solving complex questions and equations. * I would personally wish that this book should be taught in every school across India, even I knew this book when I was in my school, how fun it would solve difficult questions in few seconds. * About the difficulty of the book I would say definitely it would be better if a teacher will guide this book to a small student, bucz he may find it difficult to self study this boo. , I would say after 10th class anyon can understand if he gives enough time to understand the basics steps and then practice the questions given in the book as an exercise. Bare with me for this long review, I hope it will help someone.

Very helpful for understanding Vedic math. Even beginners can try. Sutras have been given in Hindi as well english for better understanding and explained well with sufficient number of examples. Printing quality needs improvement.

This is the most detailed book on Vedic Mathematics written till date. The author, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaj, is man whom you will look up to in great awe and admiration, he was a divinely gifted student, mastered all subjects available at his college back in his student life. The great, but humble man that he was, he did not accept authorship of Vedic Mathematics, according to him, he found out all about Vedic Mathematics techniques & formulae from the four Vedas which he had mastered at an early age, followed by long meditation in the Sringeri forest. This introductory book consists of 16 sutras, one will need patience, love, and devotion to absorb faithfully the contents of this small book, but in the end, you will be a very happy and accomplished human, with pride for the Vedas. Though the great man had written more manuscripts on advanced Vedic Mathematics, all of that has been lost to an unknown & dishonest disciple of his to whom he had entrusted the manuscripts before leaving for his heavenly abode ... this introductory book is all that is available today to public, and its a true gem of a book!

This book is made for any person who studies or want to study the deep theories of math.It's printing and paper is of high quality.It also shows how much rich in wisdom the vedas were.People can calculate in second with the methods given inside of this book. It is actually not for beginners. Need a lot of knowledge to even read it through. Should be clearly mentioned about it.

Das Buch klappert so gut wie jede vedische Regel ab, sei es Vektorgeometrie oder Division mit unglaublichen Werten in Kopf. Es bietet dem Leser somit nicht nur die 0815-Regeln die man 100-fach im Internet findet, sondern bietet einen guten Einblick in die Möglichkeit, Rechnungen mit denen man sich in der eigenen Schulzeit schwer getan hat, mit simplen Regeln zu meistern. Vorraussetzungen sind dabei ein gutes Englisch (oder ein guter Übersetzer), Geduld und viel Zeit, da die Erklärungen im Buch meist etwas dürftig sind und von einem guten mathematischem Gefühl ausgehen. Für 11te, 12te Klasse und generell für alle Mathematikbegeisterten -oder Verhassten zu empfehlen.

This is an excellent book on mathematics. The author was an explendid human been and all his work were exceptionally powerful current of moral and spiritual enlightment. The sixteen mathematical formulae found by the author in the great Indian Vedas are a powerful tools for everyone that uses mathematics in his life (I mean everyone who is alive!). The formulae helps in doing evey calculus and helps to brain exercise. I bought the book from Amazon with a good price. The delivery was fast, near one month (I live in Brazil), two weeks less than the initial prevision. I recomend the book, and Amazon.
